I've never understood how Tim Westwood became one of the most important figures in Hip-hop. The white son of a bishop from Lowestoft. But you had made it if you were on Westwood back in the day. But him, Tony Prince, David Rodigan and even Tony Blackburn are key figures in black music.

Record labels (gate holders) only permitted music like this back in the day because they was unaware of how powerful rap music was becoming but soon as the gate holders seen jus how big of an impact rap music was havin on the public they quickly stop signin any artist with a message 🤦🏾 unless people of color become gate holders it will never be black medallions only gold Jesus pieces

4those UNAWARE, WHEN ADROCK SAID WE AINT DOIN Q&A CUZ YALL PRINT WHATEVER THE FUK U WANT 2&NOT WHAT WE SAY. ADROCK WASNT PISSED CUZ BRITISH TABLOIDS GAVE THERE ALBUM OR CONCERT BAD REVIEWS. I GOT A BOOK I THINK N 92/93. THAT HAD ALL THE TABLOID STORIES REPRINTED N2 1 BOOK THAT BRITISH TABLOIDS PRINTED ABOUT THE BBOYS N 86/87. SOME STUFF WAS SO STUPID. FOR INSTANCE 1 TABLOID PRINTED THE BBOYS WAS BORED B4 A CONCERT, SO THEY WENT TO CHILDRENS HOSPITOL& ASKED WHAT FLOOR THE KIDS WITH CANCER WAS ON. THEY THEN PROCEEDED TO GO UP THERE 2MAKE FUN OF THE KIDS WHO LOST THERE HAIR TO CHEMO. ITS BULLSHIT LIKE THAT IS WHY ADROCK SAID NO QUESTIONS CUZ YALL MAKE UP SHIT & PRINT SHIT THATS NOT TRUE AT ALL.
