I watched many negative painting lessons. And you are absolutely the best teacher for this method. Thank you graciously for not using music. The sound of your voice is all that is needed. I wish this trend of using music and. I can’t watch those videos. Music is as subjective as the art we choose.

I don’t understand about speeding up your teaching. I love the quiet process of your thinking. I also like the sounds of the studio. The brushes in water, the scratching of brush on paper etc. The right brain process is fascinating. Why leave it out?

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on my video. As I edited this video I was concerned that people might skip watching it due to the length of time. I also wasn't sure if people wanted to see every brush stroke. You gave me valuable feedback and I appreciate it. I will now consider adding several longer versions videos of my paintings process while continuing to mix in some shorter (faster speed) videos. Thanks and happy painting, Lorraine

Why is your a orange color and the one you coping is white? It looks like teeth to me.
@lorrainerimmelinwatercolor4 ай бұрын
Hi , Your comment made me smile...teeth lol The reference sample painting was started on white paper; therefore, the negative space is white. The demo painting was started on paper that had a light wash of orange; therefore, the negative space is orange. Great question, thanks, Lorraine
