It may have had firing order changed from the old school 1-8-4 to 1-8-7. That will also help it to rev higher.

Half tons usually are quicker than heavy duties. Even a 5.7 Hemi 1500 is quicker than a 6.4 Hemi 2500. Too many retards in this world lol.

Good video but I think it's Miss-titled... As DIY. You didn't do it yourself, you just took it to a shop where two professional mechanics worked eight man hours on it! AND THEY DID GREAT and overall it was very helpful and informative but That's not DIY ...cuz you didn't do it yourself... you didn't do anything I don't even know why you're in the video.

No it’s a sbc. But the sb2.2 is a highly modified platform of the sbc. The block has raised cam location and you can use 13 degree heads. Very expensive but it’s one of the best old school small blocks ever made

I figured that out after the video, these motors can hit 8500rpm no problem. Sbc with nascar custom heads.

2 guy's 4 hour's. I have to do this exact job on an 04' 3500. 2wd thank God! Plus the oil pan gasket. I'll comment how long it takes me, and I don't have a lift!
