It would appear to be a very difficult city to live in. Yes wonderful construction but it doesn’t make up for the city’s typography or its climate.

You may have seen reports depicting China as inhuman authoritarian and a country with strong politic mania. But, visit China once in your life to be an eye opener to a different culture or civilisation which is always distorted on main stream media and hostile Vloggers.

They have craziest city but their economy is declining. I just heard it in news. Their building are in poor quality and some buildings are empty. They're aiming to be the most powerful country in the world but sad to say in a wrong way.

There's a large history of failure in all types of construction in China. Poor technique and bad material are common.

China is in the same predicament as Japan was in the 90s, caused by real estate bubble, to be followed by 30 more forgettable years. The Ministry of Truth, noticing a 90% drop in tourism owing to China’s warring stance, is now hiring native English speakers as online tour guides, hoping that they would bring the tourists back - albeit neither suppressing the nationalistic (militant) stance of the population which the government whipped up to divert internal anger outward (such as the recent stabbing of four foreign language teachers in a park) nor lifting the ban on international credit cards (which enables uncontrollable cash flow). Tough situation there.

Narodna republika Kina je jedna od najačih zemalja svijeta po izgradnji cesta i mostova , a tu se ubrajaju Sjedinjene američke države , Japan i druge sa visokom tehnologijom i dugogodišnjom praksom . Respekt !❤❤❤

Building this kind of bridge in this terrain is wasting of money. You could have easily built a suspension bridge.

America would have been much better but wars fake and nade up war on terrorism had taken all the wealth. A country ruled by big cooperations and corruption wide spread and now its Ukraine that's taken the money yet the money never leaves America 😅😅😅

It isn't Chinese engineering though... and no one should trust Chinese construction... or maintenance... it's a cool bridge though.

My dream destination. I should find out on Monday if I have enough money left in my RRSP so I can finally get to China. 44 years ago I was supposed to move to Hong Kong and was too intimidated because my Cantonese pronunciation was poor, then my friend told me I'd need to learn Mandarin also and I gave up on my dream. I've been regretting it since 1980 😢

The Chinese are pragmatic and do not waste their time on empty shouts of ideology. They always start from the needs of their own experience, rather than being constrained by ideological values. That is why this country of 1.4 billion people, where not a single person lives below the line of extreme poverty, has completely eradicated poverty, a certified achievement given to this country by the United Nations.
