I've seen every Galacti.... oh hell I couldn't watch this because I got BORED and wanted to start drinking again!

You obviously know nothing about actual technology. The empire weapon's are lasers. LASERS. Just focused light. Lmao. The basic shield of just a Borg drone wouldn't even get warm if the deathstar had a month to fire at it continuously. None of the weapon's from star wars would make a scratch on any of the ships from star trek. Where as phasers, disruptor and photon torpedoes, plus teleportation and replication technology and transwarp drives. Would make attacking the empire seem like an utter waste of energy. Ultimately, except from the population numbers greatly boosting the Borgs drone numbers by trillions, the Borg would ignore the empire as its entire civilisations technology is abysmally obsolete and would do nothing at all to advance the Borg. So this would be a pure horror show for the empire as they can only watch helplessly as the Borg assimilate the entire galaxy without any resistance whatsoever.

Borg win, no question. (Long post) The Empire might win, if through some World-Between-Worlds force-space-magic, they figured out the location of the Borg Unicomplex. And somehow tear through layers of corruption, bureaucracy, infighting etc, to launch a fast pre-emptive strike with the Death Star and the Rim Fleet. The superlaser is far too powerful for the Borg to adapt fast enough. But the retaliation would be swift and deadly. ISDs might be able to significantly damage or even destroy a few Borg Cubes... for a short time. Then it would be a complete slaughter. The Force wouldn't make any real difference. A handful of space wizards against dozens of Borg ships and possibly millions of drones beaming in? Would make the Clone Army look like a bunch of Boy Scouts! The Fleet's best bet would be to jump out as quick as possible. Any ship in danger of being captured, would have orders to self-destruct. As for the Borg. They would employ the same tactics as they did against the Federation, starting small-scale. Assimilating isolated outer worlds, pirates, smugglers, absorbing their inhabitants' biological and technological distinctiveness. Gathering intel on this "Galactic Empire". Normally the Empire wouldn't care, unless their core worlds were hit. But the Emperor would feel a chill in his bones, like nothing he's ever felt before. Fear normally strengthens the Dark Side, but not this time. He sends a fleet to the Rim, but it's too late. The Borg have already adapted to the weapons of this galaxy. It isn't a battle, it's a complete curb-stomp. Through assimilation, the Borg learn of Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, and the Death Star. There were some odd mentions of the former two having magic powers, but that was irrelevant to the Borg. Given the size of the Empire, the Borg brought a battle-group of 12 cubes for assimilation. They immediately set course for Corusant. The Death Star and the entire Imperial Fleet was waiting. The Borg immediately targeted the Death Star for assimilation. Planet-killing was irrelevant, but the underlying technology was something they could consume. 2 cubes were instantly destroyed, before the rest converged to point-blank range. They quickly disabled the Death Star, and began beaming tens of thousands of drones over. Blaster rifles, rockets, even thermal detonators only slowed the Borg briefly. They adapted and kept coming. Vader had more success, cutting down hundreds of drones before his sabre bounced off their adaptive shields. At least they had no defence against the Force. But no matter how many Borg Vader crushed, the essence of what they are remained. They regenerated and kept on coming! Eventually Vader was exhausted, his strength depleted. The lava of Mustafar was nothing compared to the ice-cold touch of Borg nanoprobes injected into his neck. The Borg didn't even bother with the Imperial fleet, single-mindedly focusing on assimilating the Death Star. Imperial weapons were by now, completely ineffective against the Borg. Some bold Captains even tried ramming the Borg, but they simply used their tractor beams to swat them away like flies. In less than an hour, initial-stage assimilation of the Death Star was complete. It broadcast out to the entire galaxy, via the galactic holonet: "I am Vader, of Borg. Resistance is futile. You will disarm all of your weapons, and stand by for assimilation. Your lives as you have known them, are over. From this time forward you will service... us." The Borg were fully aware of Vader's public image as a hero, so he was useful as a liaison. They promptly regrew his lost limbs and healed his scars, though out of efficiency not compassion. His lightsabre was intriguing, but the rarity of kybre crystals made it of little use to the Borg. So they kept his mask for his liaison role, but discarded his primitive flawed armour in favour of Borg cybernetics. It was all over from there. Palpatine fared batter with Force Lightning, but he was only delaying the inevitable. As compliant drones, Vader and Palpatine could no longer channel the Force. Even if it were possible, spending time and resources to cultivate this mysterious power in a few rare individuals, was an inefficient use of the Borg's resources. The Force was irrelevant. Gifted rare individuals were irrelevant. Wow I didn't expect this to turn into a short story! Well that's my take and I'm sticking to it. Borg victory, hands-down.

I think the empire would win. The borg wouldn't be able to adapt to the death star if they keep getting destroyed in a single shot because they wouldn't be able to learn about it. And as long as they don't let their top minds who know the plans get assimilated the numbers game would win out too.

Ok this guy's analysis is wrong, point 1 Star Wars uses laser-based weapons laser-based weapons can't even affect deflector Shields let alone the main Shields. Point 2 Star Wars can only travel faster than lights speed in hyperspace corridors when they're in the corridors they can't fight. When they are outside of the corridors they are super slow, and the corridors are very limited they could on😊ly travel where there's a corridor. What Star Trek universe has warp speed and that could done warp time any direction. Star Wars will find themselves in surprise attacks with a warp in destroy then and warp out before they could even react. Poin 3 Star Wars are like battleships on the water all their weapons are on the top of it if you look underneath it maybe they're all you have one laser, all the Borg have to do with state under them, lol

the Borg are ALREADY, by the time of Next Generation, immune to ALL laser tech. they were by the time Earth went to the moon. other than the Deathstar, no laser could even pierce the shields of a probe. the Borg also can travel wayyy faster than any ship in the Empire. the Falcon, the fastest ship in the Star Wars universe travels at Warp 1.2 on the Warp scale. the Phoenix, the first warp capable ship from Earth traveled at Warp 1.5 when the Vulcans came to Earth... Hands down, the Borg would win. and it would be quick.

All this talk about the Borg not having the Force. The Borg would assimilate Force gifted people and gain access to Midi-chlorians. Not every Force gifted person is a Jedi or Sith, so they don't have to go after Vader level folks to get them, and its easier to boot. They'd eventually fill in the blanks themselves. Also individual drones might me weak minded, but the hive mind Collective as a whole would be terrifying.

BSG had its moments, and I thoroughly enjoyed the first season, had a blast with the second, but stopped watching some time during the third when the main theme became "Who's Cylon today?". Interestingly my favorite moment was also in the third season (I think, my memories are hazy) when the Galactica jumped into the atmosphere of New Caprica, and launched the fighters during the fiery descent. Might give the whole series a second chance though after watching this video.

Sidious could use the Force to throw a fleet of cubes into a sun. No more cube. While the Borg can, and would, overwhelm the technology, use of the Force is an inane ability, not a technological one. The Force cannot be assimilated. It really depends on how powerful Sidious and Vader are.

It doesn't take that much to change and adapt to weapons fire or saber attacks. The force, would be detected, but the Borg, do to races with Mental type powers, like Betazids. A defense would be formed quickly. Droid factor, would be useless as well. They are walking computers and those can be hacked remotely or on contact. Borg Unimatrixs is like an Hydra. Cut off the head, another grows back aka transfers to another Unimatrix. The only way to stop them, that somewhat effect. Is to strike at them on their Nanites. Also, if the Borg, came to the galaxy far far away, The empire needs to out right destroy the beach head in which the Borg had taken and no doubt set up an Transwarp gate and an unimatrix. Failure, will doom the galaxy.

cross-franchise comparisons tend to be a bit daft, this being no exception. i think the only interesting point this brings out is what is the point of fighters in star wars at all? they don't have enough firepower to damage the large ships, the borg could ignore whole fleets of them. so could the larger starwars chips (based on the various films and series) so why have them at all, appart from the eye-candy space dogfights

Borg will crack the empire's primative shields, they figured out the Enterprise D's real quick, the beam drones onto the ships and turn the stormtroopers into drones. Darth Vader and Emperor will be surrounded by drones. Their lightsabers will stop cutting the drones because they will adapt. The Emperor and Darth will be forced to flee their ships. Also, when the Star Destroyers start shooting at the Borg cubes and Spheres, the Borg shields will adapt to their firepower.

The borge relie heavily on adaptive shields for protection. Force crush or choke will bypass that shielding. Force lighting will be able to fry the mechanical parts while cooking the organic mater. Theres never been a measurement of the most powerful of lighting. And what about the light Saber. I bet it cuts them down quick.

The Borg definitely have planet destroying weapons. They do it all the time. Ffs they will make a sun go super nova and smoke a system. Tos enterprise phasers could glass a planet with a few shots at max power. The Borg are much further in the Future and much much more advanced. The Borg would use them as fuel. And with so much and so easy, they would take over most of the galaxy. Resistance would be futile.

The Borg are like an insidious dancer that can start metastasizing at any moment. A few Borg on various levels of Coruscant, who have not yet been eliminated, can bring down a planet as complex as that. The Empire has a disastrous problem, its weapons are standardized for manufacturing on an immense scale (which would accelerate the adaptation processes used by the Borg), not thinking about their adaptability to various situations that require the use of weapons and equipment to unknown situations, as happens with the Federation and even so they have to be thankful for not being the focus of Borg attention.

If the Borg assimilated just one stormtrooper then ALL their targeting systems wouldn’t work LOL. ButThe Borg would be confused why the Empire would use lasers against them. But once they start assimilating a few Star Destroyers forget about it. Stormtroopers are useless, Borg can transport right into the center of any Empire ship and assimilate it. The Empire have never seen a virus like The Borg.

Excellent channel! So many Star Trek fans think that they would be able to use the force when the only way someone could use it as if they’re literally born with it. The Borg can’t just take over the death star because each one has Vader or Palpatine in it… too many people are underestimating the force. Really sad.
