Love your Grateful Dead songs. Thank you so much for playing them. Don't know if I ever told you....I took guitar lessons from Jerry Garcia down at Dana Morgan Studios in Palo Alto, California. He taught me Sevastopol, which I think is sung by Mississippi, and is played in open D major tuning, and Freight Train which I believe was written by Elizabeth Cotton.

Love your music. Many years ago when I was younger, I heard a string band perform and it blew my mind....folk music is incredible. Since then I have learned to play guitar (had lesson from Jerry Garcia)...he taught me "Freight Train" on guitar as performed by Elizabeth Cotton. And "Sevastopol" by Mississippi John Hurt, and I took off from there. Now I am older but still singing these wonderful tunes....and coming across your wonderful music is quite a treat for me. Thank you so much for your rendition of "Shenandoah"....a song I love to sing.
