Those fences that are in an angle down the hill. Are they bought with an angle or it’s a type of fence that can move freely to adjust to the hill? Please give me the info and what you call those type of fences. Thanks!

You mentioned adding an additional compression brace if building a wider gate. With dual 4’ tall gates, 6’ wide, should an additional vertical strut be installed between the two braces?

Are you putting a 3/8 in gap? I’m trying speed up that process for me and also deal with in even warping of pickets. Does anyone have advice on good supplier for fence materials outside of home depot? Their pickets suck

Don’t put any space in the pickets they will shrink not expand

I put a temp nail 3.5 inches down from my top string line for the 2x4 to rest on then back mark the rail , same for the bottom.
@michaelamartocciАй бұрын
Run your string 1ft out of grade use stakes run your string to hight by measuring from grade to string set all post to hight.

Only thing I got to say is ask Google it will tell you these fences are designed to be set if you would like they have aluminum inserts that make them stronger than this no dig system I would only use this system if I had too. Been doing fence for 40 years I can see a lot of things going bad with this system over time. I would also like to add posts don't drive through barriers in the ground like rock big roots it's a good sales tactic but that's all it is

That double picket rip was like magic
@anonymous..-Ай бұрын
Fence posts are usually resting on the ground and the concrete just prevents lateral movement. We don’t need 4000psi concrete for fence posts. All that matters is the posts don’t move. Any other concrete test does not apply to a fence. Too many people are overthinking this.

I ordered this 2.0 and think it's a great tool but wasn't able to use it for my fence build yet. My top rails or runners (2x4s) were too high or close to the top of my 4x4 posts so it wouldn't work.. So, my questions are: How far (minimum) is needed for the pickets to be above the 4x4 posts so that there's clearance for the 2.0 to be used? Thank you.

Gaps. 10min a section i can make a panel in less time and it's squeezed tight. And you don't have to build on-site. Just install
