Your videos are so underrated! Seriously, I cannot begin to argue how much I adore your setup, along with the sounds and everything! It all goes so well together and as someone who's currently trying to work through a complicated lore to my universe, this definitely helps as it's playing in the background as I write xD. yayyy, new sol video!! congrats on the masters program, so excited for you!!! i'm working on a novel i started back in 2021 currently. i've been blocked on this particular story for at least a year and a half now, but i took myself on a little mini writing retreat this week and finally managed to put some new words in my draft! fingers crossed it ends up opening the flood gates and i'm able to finish this story once and for all :')

@@solfleurlivre A thinkpad, or a framework laptop. More repairable and upgradeable and will last longer.

@@Detrasystem They aren't anything special really. Just thin membrane keyboards, most laptops have them these days.

One thing I forgot to mention was under the chapter section, I will normally write a short summary/idea of what the chapter will be, and later develop it as I'm writing my draft☺️

yea my first draft was only fast because i was spitballing hahaha🤣 im going much more in depth in the second draft because i have so many more ideas and some structural changes that im incorporating! for my mouse im actually not sure lmao it came for free with my pc, all i know is that it's hp!! sorry i can't let you know🥲

how do you stay consistent and “never” burn out?

I love setting schedules for when i write! I try to write everyday, even if it's just 100 words. I like listening to myself and if I dont want to write that day then I focus on editing instead, or reading in the genre of the book that im writing. Recording myself is great because I put something on in the background and I can't use my phone so it makes me focus!

yeah i do the same thing but sometimes i just get burn out or i feel i’m not working to my full potential

When that happens, what works for me is writing the only thing that I can think of in that moment; so imagine I just end up writing down "she ran". That is not going to be on my final draft. I want to be more descriptive. If nothing better is coming out i'll just put (come back later) or (make better), and move on. I find that when I get stuck on something I have to move on or else i'll end up getting frustrated and not want to keep writing. Even if my writing sucks in that moment I just need to keep writing, if it looks bad then im just practicing, I'll come back later and fix it☺️

Make more videos like this one! I that there is writing and typing. I also like that you put the paper on a clipboard so the writing is more heard. I also like that I can barely hear a fan/air conditioner in the background like other videos like this one.
