Nice build, I got a couple of vfr frames and a 96 Gt vertigo, I been thinking about building a comfortable bmx for my girl, but no telling how far I will have to go to make it comfortable for her to agree to ride it lol. She's use to beach cruisers so it will be a challenge to make it comfortable but still look cool
@403patriot3Ай бұрын
@@Certifiedtray310 I built her a 26 inch beach cruiser, this year was the first year I forced her to ride one of my BMX bikes, and now she doesn’t want to go back to the beach cruiser. Then again the bike I made her ride was a 24 inch alloy framed race bike and it’s so much easier to ride than a big coaster brake beach cruiser. I don’t blame her, my only suggestions to you is make sure that she has at least a 175 mm crank, no smaller than an 18 inch top tube and try to get handlebars between 8.6 and 9.9 rise. If you want her to keep riding with you, set it up to be as comfortable as possible until she gets used to it and make minor tweaks to get it to where it should be. This is the first year she rode a BMX, and I forced her to ride my race bike and she liked it so much. She doesn’t want to go back to a coaster brake steel frame beach cruiser. I might even suggest to build your woman at 24
@Certifiedtray310Ай бұрын
@@403patriot3 yeah I might try to find a 24", I just like the convenience of 20" they literally fit in a back seat of a car. With my beach cruisers I have to drive my truck when we go out to ride. I may try building up the vertigo, I have a nice set of 80s tall CW handlebars, a 175 3 piece crank, some older acs wheels I could throw some bigger SE tires on, and I will let her pick the seat. Maybe a nice pitbull rear brake
@403patriot3Ай бұрын
@@Certifiedtray310 I’m gonna be honest, if you’re gonna build a 24 start it on Facebook marketplace and just snag something relatively cheap. Maybe even a 26. The cost of building a 24 frame set on eBay parts alone is way above and beyond what it was worth in the end.

GROMMET cup my bad. Was the cup that rested against the baseplate of some 2009 era Indy’s. The hole was the perfect size for a Potts mod bolt, Unfortunately, it tightens with the bolts, so it has scored a perfect circle around where it rests against the alloy now. I’m not taking it apart, so that’s going to stay that way. I hope that’s enough information for you, I’ve seen your channel and I appreciate what you’re doing on it. It is the harsh reality you speak of here not to mention your lack of "minority status" which pushes your resume to the bottom of most piles. Back breaking labor jobs are the only ones out there for us. The elimination of the middle class is complete and it's all by design. The lack of housing for Canadians and increase of immigration is basically the government's way of lining their pockets while keeping their boot on our necks. Don't ask me why my neighbors have nicer vehicles than most people and are given dirt cheap government assisted housing. We are being colonized I suppose as they gather good little obedient slaves for the UN smart cities. Of course the major corporations which control the government benefit from having more consumers to buy their crap also, But the bigger picture of course was written by Albert Pike where he wrote about the 3 world wars and the west being pitted against the east because of religion. If you are not familiar with who Albert Pike was you might want to be. Because everything he laid out is playing out in real time. He created the klu klux clan and B'nai Birth which has the ADL as one of it's off shoots. Search for this on youtube to learn about the biggest threat to humanity "Ex-Mason Reveals Satanic Agenda (Original Classic)". The video was posted yesterday and is an old but very relevant interview with a freemason.
