If Christine ever, ever gets a sequel, I have a great title. *Christine 2: The Car*

I really like how this music is based upon Christine’s leitmotif, that seven-note melody that is often heard as part of the 1983 movie’s BG music when she’s in her evil mode (such as when she mowed down those 💩-ters). Tho for this piece of music it seems to have been slightly tweaked as an eight-note melody instead.

This track just made my day. Discovered Blanck Mass via The Rig. Kicking myself that I'd never heard of you before. This is fantastic!!!

Dear Amen Dunes I'd like to say thank you. I heard 3 lines of this song in Pieces of Her, instantly paused it, and now 2 hours later I have totally forgotten about the series and have been utterly mesmerized by your music. This song is as close to perfect as I've ever heard.

fun fact the sound effect at 0:10 is achieved by playing an electric guitar with a violin bow

There is an indie horror game on thus theme, killer cars chasing the footslogging player. The trick is to use spots a car can't easily enter and avoid broad, open lanes.

This is a really special track to me. The sounds are strange and hard to classify. The muffled vocals don't sound entirely human but it's still somewhat familiar. Exactly the vibe that the album cover gives: hard to define, but related to us. The sound is bitcrushed so much that I found myself trying to find a higher bitrate version, but I now understand that it's part of the aesthetic of the song. When the delay on the vocals appear, the stereo image slowly widens and the chords swell more and more. As the distorted goo of sounds slowly turns into this harmonic bliss, the listener is suddenly confronted with a harsh gated sound that turns the track slowly into an even stranger and harder to define thing. Benjamin John Power really know how to stretch music to its limits. What a beautiful mind.
