This is a useless VIDEO, in that it shows nothing of what it's talking about. The subject is creating indoor climbing areas, yet it shows NO examples. We see cats eating, lounging, having fights, playing with toys. To illustrate complex versus simple climbing areas, they show us cat faces. It's a lovely video of cats, but it's DEFINITELY NOT about how to create a safe indoor climbing space for cats.

You are making a video for youtube, not PBS where you need to pad time. With youtube you need to get to the point. You should tighten up your script and make it more punchy. Wasting peoples time with disclaimer info is annoying. Make any disclaimer info text that you pop up on the screen at some portion of the video.

Regardless the "why" I employ a simple behavioral strategy that keeps my fur babies off the counters. For those familiar with Tiny Toons, follow Elmyra's lead. If your kitty refuses to leave a tabletop upon redirection, hug your baby against their will. You needn't yell or overreact. The cat will associate the unpleasant hug with their being on a table and will work to avoid both. This has worked with even the most stubborn cat in my day.
