This is BMW 900 GS, not 900 GS Adventure. Adventure is heavier than this.

Did you need to relocate your speedometer gauge when you installed the riser or can you reinstall the gauge on top of the raised handlebar with the cable is long enough to reach the higher position?

You can install the riser but the gauge will be nearer if you wont relocate it.
