This popped up in my suggestions, beautiful video, man. Love the love you have for your Mirage, the tales with your pop (also had a good amount of fun car memories with my late dad), as well as the appreciation for Days of Thunder lol (one of my faves too actually haha).

Nice a manual Mirage GLS. Yeah the Mirage line gets a lot of hate in some forums. But I say its a practical daily driver. I have a 2018 G4 CVT still runs good

Wow so his unit is a 2010 model? I thought this particular generation of the Mirage only started to sold in 2012.

@@Jamie-zs8okHi there it's JCT hehe! Thank you for the correction, it must've been a year that stuck to my head too much since that's what my mechanic would always say but yes it is from 2012, the very first generation modern model 🙏

Collection inspired by passion. Nice german classics! It's the thrill of the "hunt" that gets your adrenaline going. The only classic MB I've owned was a 1988 all original in and out, (134K mi) Arctic White/Black Int. W124 300E. It wasn't a flashy car, but it gave me joy to own it, as it was so clean and original. The resources poured into it far exceed the original purchase price, but that's the way it goes, "pay to play." \\ I will eventually own a another classic MB again, but will have to enjoy my newest toy first and save $ on the side.

My uncle W114 200 did not have tachometer, only had 4 speed manual trans, SOHC. So yours is 280 but I am surprised it still has stalk mounted gear lever. My dad's 1974 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1.3 had disc brakes on all four, tachometer, 5 speed manual transmission, DOHC and for sure ahead of its time.

The US spec W114 & W115 looks good with those 5-mile bumpers (unlike in the W116 & W107). DOHC M110 & M104 on the W111 is just awesome man! ✌️
