Been considering a e-bike for the deteriorating knees and joints. Hardtail, is-the-way-to-go. Conway Cairon, definitely appears to be a fortress of a rig. Battery drain, is many factors: Wind, rider weight, steep hills, using turbo-mode too much, temperature. Pleased to see that Conway has 750 watt option. Most brands are out-of-stock(still blaming the pandemic and shipping, which is ...lame). Have a pair of Halo vapour 35 rims, perfect for hefty riders, and would use 2.35 tires(2.6 tires are difficult to remove on 30mm rims). Just narrowed-down to Conway, Cube, and Bulls. Whichever contacts me first with a XL frame in-stock.

I have a similar story. Mine did it in normal mode. Wouldn't listen to any outputs made by my controller, and ran into a building. it ultimately destroyed 70% of the drone and it cost like $500 to repair. That's why I'm jumping over to building quads. The crash you had you could literally pick it up and keep flying with those carbon fiber frames. The durability is so bad with the DJI FPV.

whatever props youre using seem to small not to mention the high winds. that things getting rocked like a baby in a cradle. Speedy return to the skies!

So I have flown DJI quads for about 6 years for a engineering company in PA. From my experience it looks like you might of been a victim of wind gust or some form of it. I have had this exact thing happen to a coworker. I could tell that right away from the vegetation blowing all over and also the fact that the drone was immediately sideways on takeoff. In the video I can see that you stopped at a hover (Assuming normal mode in GPS) and then the drone noise dove. What most likely happened was your drone was already sideways because of the sustained wind then caught a big gust and it flipped it. Quads are not typically meant to go past a certain angle and when the wind flipped it the drone automatically imputed power to the motors that were so desperately trying to hold the drone steady from the wind. The drone in GPS mode has automatic imputes to fight wind and when the drone flipped it tried to give automatic inputs to correct but it was too late. This was my first thought, but the aftermarket props and issues with the drone before could also be a issue. The controller gave you an error most likely from the drone crashing. not sure why the emergency brake didn't work, but in that situation panic happens and you might of clicked on the wrong button all together. The other thing could of been just user error and you gave the right stick input thinking it would go forward and you dove and didn't know what to do. Happened to me a ton in the simulator for the DJI FPV.
