You can get mending books from fishing. You can make a semi automatic fishing farm you'll just need a lava a bunch of Hopper and minecart Hopper. Also there's a bunch of enchanted books you can get through fishing.

@@UltimateAthan I’m trying to keep most of the playthrough “on camera” so I probably will just grab them from villagers as I’m able, but that’s good to know. I would definitely be curious to try that sometime bc I know farms are typically different in Bedrock. Good to see you here! Here’s to hoping episode 3 is just as dangerous as the first 2 😂

Hey, awesome video as always! Easiest way to get tridents is to have a nautilus shell and get the trident guy to follow you into a cave then throw the shell to him. Sometimes they'll drop the trident to pick up the shell! Better odds than fighting them!

@mralddragoon is The Dadlands the first time you play bedrock?
@mralddragoon8 күн бұрын
@ probably depends on how technical we get. Routinely, yes. But before that I’d double-check things I was making videos on to catch any Bedrock-specific mechanics etc. I was introduced to MC back when Pocket was new, and played a little bit on XBox back then too, but back then Java was way ahead in development and I preferred PC control anyway. These days they’re a lot closer, and I’d honestly like to see the Java-Bedrock debate loosen up, because they’re both good, there’s just some differences.

Would you consider producing a video that touches on the topic of Minecraft burn out and how to stay motivated long term? I find that I lose interest on a new world around the 2-4 weeks of playing mark. I would like to get to a point where I stay insterested long enough to beat the End Dragon.
@mralddragoon2 ай бұрын
Short answer: I would absolutely consider it. Longer answer: I’ll have to figure out my approach to the subject, it’s a bit different for everyone. But I do like the idea so it might materialize soon. It’s also totally ok to step away from it either temporarily or permanently, though I’m guessing if you’re watching The Dad Plays, it’s probably enjoyable for you to relive it with someone who’s fresh? Have you figured out where the burnout stems from? Such as “grind” or too easy, stale mechanics etc.? If you still have a desire to play but lack the motivation then figuring out what the root causes are is the best way to know how to adapt-if I am able to produce that video I will certainly aim to come up with as many possible causes as I can and offer ideas based on what they are. Thanks for subscribing too! I definitely appreciate it
