propert rotation you need all 4 wheels off. Cross to power
@Iannovich10 күн бұрын
Yes, I did rotate them according to Tesla's recommended pattern: Fronts to the rear, then cross the rears to the opposite sides in front. These tires aren't directional, and they're not staggared. Thanks for watching.

Try this first: Once the waste toner box is removed from the printer, use rubbing alcohol and a cloth to clean the three bare contacts on the exterior of the box, right side. Then, do the same with their corresponding connectors inside the printer. They look like circular metal loops. Clean the contacts, let them dry a minute or so, then put everything back into place. Fire up the printer and from your PC send a document to print. If the document prints and no error message shows up in the printer’s screen, you’re good to go. Over time, these contacts can get dirty or slightly corroded at which point they trigger the message to replace the waste toner box. And so, a two minute cleaning of the contacts returns their ability to communicate with the printer and saves you a $75 expense. If the waste toner box message persists, you can try one more thing before you spend money to replace it: Remove the old toner from the box. There are vids in this section that show you how.
@Iannovich9 күн бұрын
Yes! You are right! I had actually done this with the old toner box last time I got the message. Cleaning the contacts didn't help, so I had just removed the old toner (and recycled it). This time I decided to just buy this alternative to the OEM because it was so much cheaper (and cleaner). Great suggestion.

How do tbey sound now adays in 2024 mine anc doesnt seem to work and the audio leaks from the headphones
@Iannovich26 күн бұрын
Mine sound surprisingly good. I mostly use them for flights. I accidentally left them behind on a trip earlier this year and was forced to buy a replacement pair at the airport (for some reason I have to have ANC in order to hear in flight entertainment). The new ones (SkullCandy Hesh ANC) were not nearly as good at noise cancellation and I gave them to my son as soon as I got home. I REALLY missed these guys. I've got a new trip coming up next week, so I'll be using these again several times over the next few weeks. I'll report back if I notice any degradation.

Yeah, I'm always surprised by the number of cables and chargers that don't actually perform to their specs. I have a video coming where I try a 140w power supply and (spoiler) it doesn't put out more than 96w... even one of the two cables it comes with only works up to 96w (the other _can_ hit 140w if used with another charger though).

My juction box had wiring that was really close together and that was skewing the results unless I turned up (or down) the sensitivity. You can actually see me adjusting it with my thumb in the video. It turns out that that panel was depricated (and apparently has been since around the time it was installed in the 70s. We actually replaced the panel with a brand new panel so that we could install an EV charger on a 60amp circut, and the new panel is dead on.

This case has held up WAY better than the official Apple one I have on my work phone. They were both purchased at around the same time and are both used and treated exactly the same. The Apple one has been a heck of a disappointment. It's peeling and looks a mess. This one has some wear to the bottom, but compared to the Apple one, I can't complain at all. The light color isn't even showing any dinginess.

@Iannovich4 ай бұрын
Where are you located that you're seeing it listed for $250? I usually see it as around $99 and I've seen it as a lightening deal lately for as low as $65. We have are lucky enough to have several locations around here that have free DC charging so that we can use the CCS adapter. There are a couple of casinos, a shopping center and a few wineries... my suspicion is that that is why they are limited to 50 kw. They're nice enough to give us the free fast charging, but they don't want it to be toooo fast, so that we continue to shop or play.

My plate is the NutriChef electric crepe griddle. It just has a dial and the instructions for it say to use it at the max setting. Dymo is going towards DRM so once your 4XL starts to fail I recommend getting something like a Zebra or a Brother or even a rollo.
@Iannovich4 ай бұрын
I do have a Zebra. It is an absolute beast. I’ve used it for around 12 years. I changed out the thermal bar once because there was a thin line in my prints that bothered me, but otherwise it has never given me grief. I mostly use the Dymo for international and for a specific site that doesn’t play well with Zebra.
@Sulfen4 ай бұрын
@@IannovichZebras seem to last forever especially the older ones. You can probably keep using it forever or until the drivers no longer work or aren’t compatible anymore. It’s too bad that dymo is going towards drm because they do have some good use scenarios.

Cool video...are our iPhones not water proof?
@Iannovich6 ай бұрын
They are ususally! At least the most recent models. I've had other iphones submerged and they've done great. I think I got over confident when I realized it was in my swimsuit pocket in the hot tub... I didn't think it was a big deal and it seemed to work fine... so I took it in the pool with me... I think the hot water followed by the cold water caused it to expand and contract and that allowed water in and killed the original screen. The second screen was junk and caused all kinds of problems and ultimately failed after a drop so I replaced it with the Yodoit screen which was awesome. When I was installing that screen I think I thought the seal that came with the screen was a later step and I had to tear it in a spot to install it. I didn't think it would be a big deal, but then it went into the water in Sitka and it failed pretty quickly after I got it out, so I know the compromised seal was a problem. It may never be as waterproof as it was when new, but I was sure to install the seal in the correct order this time, so it's as waterproof as a replacement screen can be (without using silicone sealant, which I definitely considered).

Very good. But didn’t explain how to attach to the console area Do I take the two straps on each side to each head rest?
@Iannovich7 ай бұрын
Yes. That’s what the instructions show. We don’t use the top straps though, we just stowed those under the little blanket we have in there, just in case we need them. We just attached it to the console lid using the front and back D loops and that is secure enough for our vehicle. If your console lid opens from the side instead of from the front, you can use the front and back D loops instead and still attach it the same way. I hope that makes sense. If it doesn’t, please let me know and I would be happy to make a video that shows it!

Cool video, but you were basically trying to remove bubbles between the plastic film and the tempered glass; try doing this in a more lit environment or under a table lamp, helps make the dust on the screen, if any, more visible
@Iannovich9 ай бұрын
Yes you're 100% right. Only that one tiny bubble in the center was actually under the tempered glass. All the rest, including that big one were under the plastic film. I'm not even sure how they could have gotten in there. Doing it under better lighting (and if I were wearing my glasses) would definitely have helped!
