Yeah, I can see that this would allow a lot of awkward power bricks etc. to fit on a single strip. However, don't plug 24 hair dryers into it and expect everyone to be able to use theirs at once!
@wealthelife9 күн бұрын
As someone who has plugged an 8-outlet power board into another 8-outlet power board when I had too many devices, I can see a use for this sort of board. BUT I would be wary about the current being drawn through a single outlet/circuit if you were using anything close to all the plugged in devices simultaneously. I bought a current meter that I sometimes plug a 6 or 8 outlet board into, but it would be nice to see boards with that many outlets come with a built in total current display (is also nice to be able to see how much extra current is drawn when different plugged in devices are turned on).
@Iannovich9 күн бұрын
Yeah, I agree. It has protections built into it, but folks should still be mindful of what the total draw is of what they're plugging in. Love the idea of a version that has a display for that info!

Do kefir yoghurt eaters lose any of the benefits with not having the whey as its drained off? I personally don't use the whey.

@IannovichАй бұрын
It will continue to drain from higher up, but when it does get close to the bottom of the strainer, I'll dump out the accumulated whey. I don't think it will reabsorb if it actually makes it up and over it, but just in case.

HI, I’d like to collaborate with you on shooting a video for thermal labels. Would that be possible?
This yogurt is very thick how would I get it less thicker? Is this Kefir?
@IannovichАй бұрын
If you're using a strainer like this, you could just not let it strain for as long. I like it super thick. I started doing it that way when I was making a lot of Tzatziki and the extra thickness helped combat the moisture of the cucumbers. I ended up developing a taste (so to speak) for it to be super thick. If your're making the yogurt from scratch, you could heat it for less time and that should keep it from getting too thick. I just got mine, tested, and when only one breaker is beeping, it is a false match. I knew which outlets are matched with the one it indicates, but also confirmed by switching off the identified breaker. The plug remained lit. What does this result mean?
@IannovichАй бұрын
It could be the wiring is close together and the signal is bleeding over. That happened to me until I lowerred the sensitivity. We also completely replaced and rewired our box when we upgraded it for an extra 220v circuit. It doesn’t do that any longer.
@Kimland1Ай бұрын
@Iannovich but why would it not beep on the correct switch as well? I repeated this test at 3 outlets, and the result was the same - when only one breaker caused beeps, it was not the correct one for the socket. But when I press the GFI button, the correct circuit breaker trips.

Try this first: Once the waste toner box is removed from the printer, use rubbing alcohol and a cloth to clean the three bare contacts on the exterior of the box, right side. Then, do the same with their corresponding connectors inside the printer. They look like circular metal loops. Clean the contacts, let them dry a minute or so, then put everything back into place. Fire up the printer and from your PC send a document to print. If the document prints and no error message shows up in the printer’s screen, you’re good to go. Over time, these contacts can get dirty or slightly corroded at which point they trigger the message to replace the waste toner box. And so, a two minute cleaning of the contacts returns their ability to communicate with the printer and saves you a $75 expense. If the waste toner box message persists, you can try one more thing before you spend money to replace it: Remove the old toner from the box. There are vids in this section that show you how.
@IannovichАй бұрын
Yes! You are right! I had actually done this with the old toner box last time I got the message. Cleaning the contacts didn't help, so I had just removed the old toner (and recycled it). This time I decided to just buy this alternative to the OEM because it was so much cheaper (and cleaner). Great suggestion.
