had arterio stayed and they dominated (im sure they would have) ischool not dynamic prep would probably be the prep school destination for a lot of dfw area kids. that could've been one of the best backcourts the metroplex has seen in years

it didn't mean anything to most just a fall league game at Lewisville high school but marcus smart and flower mound were playing grace prep which at the time wasn't your typical taaps school. including 7'1 isiah austin and future nba player emmanuel mudiay. when i saw marcus take the challenge to guard austin when flower mound had a 6'8 d1 kid available let me know this dude is gonna be a dog. smart led marcus to a dominant 3 year run that included 3 trips to the state tournament 2 state championships (beat the Harrison twins when they were juniors) and became a McDonalds all american and one of the best defensive guards in nba history.
