IIRC the DP for this scene was the late, great Jordan Cronenweth. The producers didn't like the look of the scene, so they fired him. One does not simply *fire* Jordan Cronenweth.

A paradox movie. It is the best of the worst genre of the 1980's films.

I really hate that movie. There are so many sidekicks!

I knew this film was cooking when the entire band stopped in mid verse and they all had them thangs on them. Even the Rasta on the drums broke out the tech-9 loaded and cocked that bish. I was like, "Hold on a second. What am I watching here?!" They were ready for whatever the business is 😂

When I was a kid, the evening, in front of the tv, I turned the channel knob and this same scene appeared 0:22. The archer and crossbow were impressive. Describing this at school fascinated and was frustrating for not having the title. Tv didn't played it again and couldn't find it at the videostore. But the scene stayed in my mind. I searched the internet in the past and it's only now that I get it and with a clip on the same spot. Incredible. Thanks. I searched : "in what movie there is an elf with an auto crossbow" and google linked to here.

A production assistant I know said when the director handed Peter Weller the French Horn, Peter looked like he wanted to kill him. Really? He said. The director said you might have a future acting career, don't blow this.

A production assistant I know said after the scene everyone just stopped and looked at each other. There was a long awkward silence. As if to say all those years of acting classes led to this.
@bradlafferty60763 жыл бұрын
Peter Weller must of known that 2 Robocop films were in his future to do such 80's fluff as this. Pure camp
