nice and very spacious flat. If I were to suggest something, I would humbly recommend not to use the style small tiles for the bathroom as, with time, the many joints will collect dirt and moisture and make the wall look very dull. Better use large tiles like 50-60 cm top to bottom. Still beautiful.

As an Ethiopian millennial who grew up in Europe, Oslo, Norway -a city known for its high-quality and diverse architectural styles, ranging from Nordic and Brutalist to Victorian and 18th-19th century influences-I have developed a keen sense of appreciation for thoughtful design. Over the past few years, I have invested heavily in East African investment properities( only apartments for now), but I am increasingly frustrated by the architectural developments in cities like Kigali and Nairobi. Ethiopia's unique Abyssinian architectural heritage, untouched by colonial influences, is a topic for another time. However, the current state of residential architecture in other parts of East Africa is sad It may sound provocative, but there is a stark contrast between the architectural sophistication of the descendants of the White Settler Nobility in areas like Muthaiga, Runda, and Karen from the 1950s to the late 1980s and the contemporary developments we see in Kenya today. Even now, some of these older homes and resorts embody true luxury and a sense of elegance, while the new residential houses intended for the Kenyan upper middle class often seem like an imitation of what is perceived as luxury. These structures are essentially just blocks of varying shapes, lacking in architectural integrity, quality engineering, and the use of premium materials. The decline in the quality of residential architecture in East Africa over the past 30 to 40 years is something which should be taken serious as it the appreciation will not be great when quality is so severely compromised and corners are cut. There are lots of valuable lessons to be learned from South Africa, Cape Town, and parts of Namibia which again paraddxically probably looks like that because those houses are developed by white people, and their residential architecture is executed with cultural relevance but at the same time very high standards. Frankly, many of these new houses would not meet the architectural standards expected in Europe, North America, East Asia, Australia, or Latin America. They often lack coherence, a sense of place, and connection to their natural surroundings, compounded by the use of subpar materials. One thing I've learned about development in African countries is that if our only ambition is to replicate what we think is refined luxury in the West, we are setting ourselves up for failure. It is not authentic to us, and the results often appear cheap and uninspired.

Very nice, and with all the bars on the windows you will get the added pleasure of feeling like a prisoner. Even in some of the richest part of South Africa they don't have bars on the windows.
