I’m planning to start a 75 gallon flower horn tank with 2 tittle 110 ‘s do you think that’s to much filtration 450 and 450 = 900 gallon per hour you thank that way to much ?
@Jeffdoeswhat
@Jeffdoeswhat 5 күн бұрын
I don’t think that is took much. Especially for a big flowerhorn. I have 3 fx6 filters on a 125 with an Oscar and 2 parrot fish. That would be more overkill than 2 110’s.

Can you show why they have a plastic tri circle nozzle on the laser? You show it in your thumbnail. Is that for using the laser against a wall?

All you have to do is put some Teflon tape around the head where the gasket goes and put the gasket back on. It gives it a much tighter fit and it won't leak or let water out during a power outage. This was the number one thing that people have complained about for most sunsun filters. You don't have to shut the filter down permanently. Try my trick with any old gasket or O-ring. It works pretty much permanent fix.

I have started refurbishing good, used skate decks, trucks and even wheels to donate to kids who need to smile when they have no damn reason to. I have donated one skateboard, (not proud of that one anymore) to B.A.C.A. But plan to do more. Well, I am about to receive a 24"X24" Lazer engraver/cutter. I used to use Corel 5 (so I'll have to relearn a bit to learn now, lol.) Do you have any advice on how to spread my story and "Brand"? If you see this, thank you.

When engraving a design on the shirt you will have to play with the power levels. I do have best luck with 50/50 shirts when engraving a design. I lower power lasers for the best. It is hard to get dialed in at first but after it is easy time. I don’t do too many but I use lasers all the time to cut shirts or fabrics for appliqué. Especially for baby shirts.

OUCH.... In your eagerness to burn something, IF you had placed a paper towel OR a white sheet of printer paper down on the base FIRST, you would have NOT F-ed up the machine top plate.... Yup, a single sheet of white paper will stop the IR burn from machine damage.... Too late for you, BUT, for your viewers, put down a sheet of paper BEFORE burning anything....

#Elegoo I am shopping around fro a good 10w laser (would get bigger, but I'm already swapping food for saving to get one, lol)) but I live in an apartment and am concerned about the smoke and smells and my neighbors. So this version of an laser is very appealing. 'as it is' - does it cut down on smoke and smell to allow apartment use? Note i intend to also add an additional powered filtering system to the outside. and this one may allow me to connect the system to the top of the X-Axis, in addition to an enclosure I think it would be overkill, but overkill is good, what do you think?
@Jeffdoeswhat
@Jeffdoeswhat 2 ай бұрын
Depends on what all you are cutting. It did cut down a lot on the smoke. I would still recommend a secondary enclosure if using in your in living area due to what fumes will escape due to smoke being able to mitigate under what you are cutting or engraving
@armastat
@armastat 2 ай бұрын
@@Jeffdoeswhat well considering that the DIY system i am getting parts for can do over 400 cubic feet of air per minute - I am trying to decide if i actually need an enclosure, lol. (I may need an oxygen tank to get enough oxygen to breathe with it on full blast). Seriously tho, i only plan on an enclosure and to run it at less than 50% so its super quiet. AND so far its costing about half the cost of buying an air system from a laser supplier, has 8 times the filter capacity and does 4 times the volume
