Takich Niemców już nie ma w Niemczech - trochę takich prawdziwych co za nic nie opuszczą Vaterlandu zostało ich na Górnym Śląsku. Jako potomek repatriantów z Kresów mimo wszystko jestem pełen podziwu dla ich patriotyzmu - podobnego do nas Kresowiaków. Los sprawił że my mieszkamy pomiędzy tymi prawdziwymi patriotami będąc patriotami Kresów. Los jest niezwykle przewrotny.

Proud to say I am 25% Prussian. My fraternal grandfather was born in Berlin in 1898, when there still was a Prussia. My great uncle served in the Prussian Grenadier Guard battalion in WW1 (and survived). This music is in my blood!

there must be Millions of people of Prussian /German descent in Germany and all over the world. Prussian values were honest loyal and decent and its a terrible pity that an evil Austrian dragged these values and Germany and Prussia into the the gutter.. I hope that some day soon Prussia re-unites in place of the artificial German "states" the were dreamt up by the Vatican and the Allies.GOD bless Prussiaand Fredrick the Great and his brave grenadiers!

Dragonerregiment Ansbach - Markgraf Friedrich von Bayreuth Dragoner, Nr. 5 der Dragonerregimenter der friderizianischen Armee. Berühmte weltgeschichtliche Attacke in der Schlacht von Hohenfriedberg (04.06.1745) 67 Fahnen erbeutet und 2500 Gefangene gemacht und den ganzen rechten Flügel des Gegners in die Flucht geschlagen. Aber warum sind im Video vorwiegend Musketiere des Infanterieregimentes Nr. 13 zu sehen?

Fryderyk Wielki sprowadził do Prus migrantów z całego świata. Ale sami musieli być tolerancyjni wobec innych mieszkańców i powinni być pracowici. W Prusach żyło wiele grup etnicznych. I dogadali się. W przeciwieństwie do dziś. _______________________________ Friedrich der Große hat Migranten aus aller welt nach Preußen eingeladen. Aber sie mussten selbst tolerant sein gegenüber den anderen Einwohnern.Und sie sollten fleißig sein. Viele Ethnien lebten in Preußen. Und sie vertrugen sich. Im Gegensatz zu heute.

Actually the only problem is Silesia, the rest is okay. It's better than OTHER maps with don't even include Alsace-Lorraine

maybe i'm nit-picking, but this one has its germany-russia border all sloppy and belgium owns eupen-malmedy which it should not i'm guessing that someone took a modern map and just drew lines over it in paint (and netherland has the reclaimed land from water too)

The lyrics were written by Ernst Moritz Arndt in 1813 (at the time of the Battle of the Nations at Leipzig). Napoleon was still in power, Germany, as a political entity, non-existent. The map shown here shows the situation of 1871-1914. Ernst Moritz Arndt could not foresee German unification, although he dreamt of a unified German nation state.

Man I wish I had this for my history class last year when I did a project on Witold Pilecki and my final essay on Polish contributions to Allied codebreaking, this would have been great.
