Agreed! But I do enjoy the hiking up part of our sport. I did 4 turns there and then moved onto another place for a H&F. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to fly it due to the winds not working.

The houses seem larger than I expected...mostly year round residents or any feel for how much of the valley is short term rental?

I actually asked that exact question. A lot of the homes are on Airbnb, VRBO, etc. I met several digital nomad pilots who are there for the flying season and were renting out rooms or part of a house with their families for the summer. There's also a lot of great campsites around as well. Some of the pilots I met just travel from flying spot to flying spot in their sprinter van. ALL GREAT IDEAS if you ask me!

@RichardAzia thanks for the suggestions! I was actually thinking of doing the Mürren-Gimmelwald Via Ferrata. I know the wing suits fly off of their platform but, I’m seeing spot for paragliders. Do you know anything about it?

@@TutVilla I haven't tried it yet so I am not sure. I think there would be a grassy field at the end of the VF but I would need to go and check, or study maps to give a useful answer. It is one I have yet to do.
