Honestly we were manipulated into thinking Mr. Ditkovich was a jerk. He's pretty patient with Peter owing him rent money especially after Peter yelled at him. I know that in real life, Landlords would kick you out without hesitation for not paying them.

He's a bit of an asshole but you can tell he genuinely likes Peter, considering he not only lets him off the hook a lot with actually paying up rent, but also being more concerned than upset when Peter actually snaps at him, only to forgive him and even give him advice, though it may or may not be free, I could see Mr. Ditkovich adding his relationship advice onto Peter's rent at the end of the month.
