I had the same car with white paint, black interior. I can't tell you how much loved that car. When the frame rotted and it was no longer safe, I just about cried. At that time no one was repairing frames due to possible liability issues.

I owned a 1985 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z. It looked exactly like the one in this video. It was black with leather [i can almost smell those seats] and had the louvers on the back hatch window. I loved that car, but it had a lot of engine troubles. My understanding is that the wastegate on the turbo was stuck closed and couldn't “dump" properly, causing excessive manifold pressure generated by a turbocharger, which caused an overboost and blew/cracked the head.
