2 more Olympics for Burroughs; he won a Gold at the age of 24 so I'm sure he can win 3 Olympic Golds after the disappointing Rio Olympics
@Eric-nh2yb5 жыл бұрын
Who wins.. Jordan Burroughs or USADA? - well I guess he already got that 🥇. As far as skills are concerned, all I'm seeing here is nothing but explosive power. Who do you think would win: USADA UFC or USADA Olympics?
@michaelbarnes24785 жыл бұрын
So you're not seeing technique? By your reasoning the world's strongest (most powerful) would be a champion of this, right? No technique required, just power. Some people really ought to think things through before they comment. But a guess hatred will never allow that 🤔
@Eric-nh2yb5 жыл бұрын
@@michaelbarnes2478 Hatred lol In comparison, watch a Ben Askren wrestling highlight reel and you'll see pure technique at work. Half of Jordan's highlights are him in the gym doing explosive power training and most of the other half are explosive double leg takedowns. Though there is definitely some technique, it's not what sets him apart. Normally, I wouldn't say that in most cases or athletic competitions that the most physically strong/athletic would win, though, the exception is when PEDs come into play because they take it to another level - which (almost literally) over powers good technique. I find it to be quite commendable that Askren, for example, does what he does with a dad bod. I think your 'hatred' comment has to do with race, well, Brock Lesnar is in the same boat. For example, he came into the UFC largely with one primary thing which was his abnormal power & strength and became heavyweight champion of the world. Another example is Anthony Johnson in the UFC, although he never actually tested positive for steroids, he was an extremely obvious case of it and his whole entire game relied on knocking people out with inhuman power. Although he had no great striking technique, no great jiu jitsu or wrestling skills, was able to get to the top of the game and defeat many more superior technique fighters only because he had incredible power.
