You covered the controversy well on Tofu and phytoestrogens. That is always the biggest lesson I teach when cooking whole foods or lecturing. Most every plant contains phytoestrogens. They are the natural hormones of every living plant. Chickpeas, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, carrots, potatoes, rice, wheat, fruits, veggies, berries, onions, garlic etc. Living food has to have phytoestrogens to germinate and reproduce. Just like we do. The health benefits of eating phytoestrogenic plants are, reproductive health, heart health, weight loss, hormone dependent tumors, bone and skin health and immune support. It is marketing that sadly debunked Tofu back in the eighties. Then the medical got ahold of it. In any article that your read, see who wrote it. That is the key. 😊 The real danger is in eating meat, dairy and poultry that have dangerous synthetic estrogens injected into them. These are the true cancer causers. Animals are injected with estrogen to make them grow bigger and faster. This is the danger of estrogen. Not plant phytoestrogens. Eating phytoestrogenic foods are very important because they will block the estrogen receptors in the body before the synthetic estrogen gets a chance to take over and block them causing tumors. I always have to voice whenever I get the chance on this to inform people that tofu is a fabulous protein food IF it is organic and only soybeans and water ingredients. 😊I eat tofu as often as I want, but usually about once a week or 2. Goes great in all plant meals. Phyto nutrient plants are what we need - to live healthy and have a healthy endocrine system. Look at Countries that have tofu as their staple protein. They have the least cancers and health problems.

I analyzing your KZbin video channel and i found KZbin video SEO is not done. And your channel optimization is not done. And the keywords you used in the video have a lot of competition so your video doesn't rank first in the search list and doesn't reach your audience.

Hey Patricia, we understand, we've had others with this same concern. Yes almond milk can work as an alternative to the coconut milk. A useful substitute for the coconut oil, could be Almond Oil as it's also sweet. Plus my research says it will harden in the fridge. Also you could consider buying cocoa butter, melting it and using that as well. Both are great for your skin as well so makes the investment go further!

Thanks a lot for your review. A neurofeedback researcher that I worked with a bit said that research shows that for many purposes neurofeedback actually works *best* when it is boring, because that trains the brain to get into a new state in everyday life, but if the neurofeedback itself is interesting (such as watching a video that you are interested in), then the brain change results from the interesting stimulus and not from the brain learning a new state. Especially for something like anxiety, and maybe less so for ADHD.

"History of the potato The potato was the first domesticated vegetable in the region of modern-day southern Peru and extreme northwestern Bolivia between 8000 and 5000 BC. I’ve been suggesting all the same things since it came out. At this point I think it is what it is. The company has never even given feedback to any suggestions as if they were even thinking about improving. I think this release is the last release of this device though I feel the company probably is coming out with a next gen device but we will see.

The game is supposed to supply the nfb, as in, you get a dopamine boost from seeing the stars and ball move up. I think the trick is to kind of feel excited about it. The dopamine hit will help train your brain. I order one recently. Hoping for some positive outcome. Great review.

@nicbongo

I think mustard was the biggest culinary crime here. That and the powders - no nutrients there. I've heard other chefs refer to them as dead food, which is contrary to what you're trying to achieve. If you're doing all that cutting, chop an onion and garlic too. Chili also has cumin in too. Cilantro should be used too, not parsley - it has a different profile. Oregano is used for seasoning too. There was also no shots of the cooking itself, or was the chili raw? Sautee onions, add cumin. After 5-10 mins then add the vegetables to get a but of color/flavor first. Then add beans, toms, oregano and garlic. I though would prefer to sautee veg separately (with mushrooms!) and serve on top. Chili is usually beans, meat and minimal veg. Also not really plant based if using honey. Maple syrup is a good alternative, but no where near as nutrient rich. It looks super healthy and nutrient balanced your meal though, I like your sweet potato and cashew sauce idea. I also think serving it with salad instead of rice is a good move, though I'd suggest a small portion of rice. As combined rice and beans provides a complete protein.

@@feelbetterliving I no longer cook with oils at home and get my fats from the whole food. Olives instead of olive oil for example, avocado instead of avocado oil. When oil is produced it is stripped of many of its nutrients and all of its fiber, All oils are about 120kcal per tbsp. And as I understand it, are extremely calorie dense and don’t add anything to satiety. I use water or broth to sauté. There are many oil free recipes on KZbin and I believe all of the mainstream plant based doctors agree to cut out the oil , but eat healthy fats in their whole food form.
