Man this is amazing. I had to go try it for myself. The fact that the homing attack doesn't slow you down can make it a bit crazy at times to control yourself but man it still feels pretty nice! Just like Shadow Gens I can't help but miss the Light Dash. Am I the only one?

Honestly the skydiving instead of the "snowboarding" in metal harbor just hits so much harder. There are a few things that need work like some of the scripted event being to slow but overall this is amazing.

Sonic X generation and frontiers is taking the right step. But I would now like a sonic adventure game with mechanics just like sa2. Complete camera control and the looseness to move your character how you want to.

@@deedoubs that’s pretty old, it was back when the game was gonna be an Open Zone styled experience, they’re reeling it back to be more of an Adventure styled hub with the levels being the main focus, and I think they’re also scrapping the Planet Wisp aesthetics, either way we’re probably looking at a vastly different final product compared to the old SAGE demo

@@deedoubs No shit, Sherlock. It ought to be similar, it's literally an updated version of the first 'cyberspace' level from the old SAGE 2023 demo. The 2023 demo had two cyberspace levels; this one but less finished, and a 2D level in a similar state.

Everything in this update has improved Sonic Horizons by like 10000% and has only increased the potential of this fangame even more, the movement seems so smooth, so fluid and so free! Not to mention the high speed and the use of camera angles even the music and sound effects are awesome! if the sequel of Sonic Frontiers and future games have this as a basis I will be so happy even if it's just for traditional 3D stages

Well I distinctly remembering this one because it has cutscenes in it’s demo. It’s been a while since then, but I’m glad to see this is still being work on. But, I could’ve sworn there was supposed be some combat elements in this. I specifically remember the devs making a comment about showing that off next demo. Did they push that one back to a later date?

Merry Christmas! Nice to see another Update to Sonic Horizons, the game feels better than ever! The spin dash revs zooming the camera closer is a nice touch and really like the speedometer as well. Makes it clearer what gives you the most speed.
