Thanks! The roosters were traded from the neighbors and are bound for the freezer. We've been delayed in processing them. The rabbits are mixed breed. Californian and New Zealand White crosses. We are just getting our feet under us, there is a lot we are still working out. Thanks for watching!

We have the animals for meat and milk so we may eat healthier and not support factory farms where animals really suffer. Our setup is brand new and we are in the process of fencing a goat pasture. @@rockycanyoncreek_homestead I reintroduced them 12/29 and they got 3 fall offs, and 2 more fall offs the next morning. I mover her into the house in a 4' x 4' pen in a private room where it will be 55 deg instead of 25 degrees outside for her first litter. We're looking at an estimated DOB 1/31.

These rabbits literally have all the food and water they need. They have a safe place to live and are sheltered. They're clearly happy.

Well can't blame her really out of respect to you those cage's are deathtraps and the floor will hurt there feet rabbits do have feelings I guess I wouldn't like as a rabbit to be shut up in there ,

That is a bit of petrified wood we used in their big water bowl at first when we were worried about them being too little to be able to get out of the bowl if they fell in. (I may have been a bit paranoid)

Love that idea instead of smooth rocks like we use in the chicks waterer when they are in the run.
