Always love watching your videos and hearing your commentary! Despite how the season looked on paper, there were a ton of close games that could have gone your way. You kept a great attitude throughout and had a cool team with fun comps, so it was a pleasure to watch from this side of the screen! ❤️

This was a victory despite the raw result if I ever saw one. Your build gave you lots of options, you had good awareness throughout the match, and brought each game within rng. I was not able to kill the dang Rhyperior, you did with a frickin Hypno. To more heat in the final week!

Yeah we saw that Duosion didn't have protect, so doubling it basically always locked g3. ID with Torterra on protect might have as well. Very close games.

SPOILERS ----------------------- For some reason the text didn't render in the video, but Play Rough had an 18% chance to kill Gliscor from from 44% in game 2, so I wouldn't have necessarily won the game if I didn't miss (though when I did finally hit, I hit the roll, and it was 2x as likely for me to hit the range than it was for me to miss once) In game 3, Headlong Rush needed to do 3% more to Probopass so that it would have died to Sucker. 60% was a min roll: 0 Atk Torterra Headlong Rush vs. +2 252 HP / 172 Def Probopass: 100-120 (59.8 - 71.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery It was a 70% chance that it would bring it down to the range I needed, and then Sucker Punch was a max roll (so I used my luck in the wrong place) All that being said, I still could have won G3 if I wasn't dumb and double targeted Duosion on turn 7 to prevent TR since Headlong + Tbolt always killed it and Probopass couldn't really do anything in that position anyway so the Protect should have been obvious. It was a great play from Cannor!

Great dub. I don't think you should feel any sort of way about calcing during a game, it is a helpful tool that anyone can use. You didn't take long to use it or anything.

Couple of notes that I forgot to edit in: - I missed that Kilowattrel was Cloak game 1 so I mentioned a couple of other times throughout the set that I wasn't sure where the cloak was (oops) - I did not realize Haxorus was Choice Scarf until the end of the last game - The Samurott Aqua Cutter roll into Kilowattrel game 1 was a 56% chance to kill from that range, so it was a 50/50 slightly in my favor

SORA AND GOOSE! i believe in illumise my tragedy with boulder is that the 120 atk mighty cleave 95 BP is mildly weaker than the Lycanroc Dusk 117 atk stone edge 100 BP, more accurate is good and avoiding protect is amazing... but it's not like I was using Lycanroc Dusk before that. And Accelerock is also REALLY nice, and I STILL wasn't using Duskroc before it. Boulder is a nice marginal improvement on a Pokemon we weren't using anyway.

That's a BRUTAL double blizzard hit into double freeze (even if Uxie thawed). It was a closer set than it looked and using Final Gambit to remove Tornadus immediately was sick! It's an uphill battle, but I believe in your ability to prep and perform! Let's round out the season with some wins, and more importantly, fun!

Super close set! That was fun to watch! Toxicroak having both Feint and Fake Out was cool utility. It's tough to find room for both moves, so assuming no Feint was completely understandable. It was an insanely close game 2 and 3 and you've got a cool team, so keep it up and look onward to week 3! 🤘

We appreciate the high-effort content :) You had a good plan, just a couple of great plays by Jay edged out the win. This week can be a good learning experience for respecting everything you opponent can do (which is hard, my preferred option is to panic lol), and getting ready to take lots of Ws over the rest of the season

That's a solid run. GG for the resort demo dash. I am curious to know how often you get that demo on first try? I didn't expect to see a temple B side, but it was a really good one. You went for every single shortcut, which is pretty impressive. While you do suffer from some heavy deaths on large rooms, which adds time to the overall time, you still manage to get a 49 which is very clean imo. I am sure that if you stick to the same routing but improve on execution, you will be able to gain significantly more time. Watching your run makes it feel like sub 45 is actually really close. Actually, even the 40 mins mark is not so much of a stretch. And since you have already implemented temple B side, I have no doubt you will get there in no time. That was a nice run to watch and learn from, thank you :)

Celeste is one of my favorite games, so I'm glad you decided to give it a shot! Now look at you go with the speedrun strats! Can't wait to see that sub hour in no time, followed up by the sub 50! Might have to pick this game back up after a long break to bring out our competitive spirit!
