I would have crashed that garden party, had I known 😂 I'd buy 3 jars of your Jalapeño Pepper Jellies!!! ❤ May be e-z for you to make, but I wouldn't do 🙃 Liked watching though! I'd have to wear gloves and a space suit 🤣 No matter how hard at being a perfectionist, it doesn't turn out that way! 🤪 Setting jar in boiling water reminds me of when my Mama taught be her old fashioned way of sterilizing glass baby bottles. Omg Heather, I'm glad I had friends who had their babies during that time, to bring me up to date, and that was 41 yrs ago. YIKES .. that sounds crazy in itself!!! I'd definitely use on appetizer/charcuterie delights!! 🥂 My Mama, on everything and my son, I know he'd eat it, straight out of the jar 🥄😁 Love hugs and blessings girl. Thanks! ❤

This is just a suggestion I would like to make cos the outcome is self tested and found to be 100% sucess. Whenever you're out in your Garden, ALWAYS be totally barefoot because our soles love and deserve that freedom. They love to feel various textures of soil between their toes. Apart from n it's very healthy to be barefoot outside. Take for example two plants, one grown inside a pot and tge other grown in Nature. However much you water and use fertilizer, it never looks as healthy as the latter. This is simply because the roots have a limited space to stread and the Nurishment too is the same. The soles of our feet are like the roots of a tree.When you're not barefoot that natural process is obstructed. Our soles are designs to absorb things which are essential to lead a healthy lifestyle. However, use of footwear deprives this process. Apart from that there are a large number of Sensors / Nerve endings on the soles of our feet, which connects from head to toe. When we walk on Sand, Gravel and Tiny Stones /Pebbles,our entire body gets stimulated through these sensors. Once again Footwear deprives this natural process. So, go barefoot always for good health and happy feet and soles.

Love your patio area. It's so colorful and varied. I wonder how you deal with the burrowing animals. I have a chipmunk problem. Whenever I add a new perennial, invariably I find a chipmunk hole going right under the plant. I don't know how to deal with that.

Thanks for watching. Yeah, chipmunks are a special kind of nuisance. Have you tried Plantskydd granular repellant? You shake it around whatever it is you want them to avoid and it seems to do a pretty good job. And you don’t have to reapply constantly.

Just saw your video and like your approach about DA roses. I have a lot of DA roses, and I find some are better suited in my humid 9A zone than others. I also have James Galway, which started out very promising but struggling at the moment. He was planted at a place where a former climber was, and I was wondering if he is suffering from Rose Replant Disease. Have you heard of this. Have you planted another rose plant at the same spot where a former rose plant was dug up and found the new plant struggling to grow? They call this Rose Replant Disease.
@heatherhereshegrows
@heatherhereshegrows 6 күн бұрын
I’m not familiar with rose plant disease and will have to look into it now that you mention it. I did have a rose several years ago that had rose rosette and did not replant with another rose in that spot for fear that it would return.
@jeffwong4876
@jeffwong4876 6 күн бұрын
@@heatherhereshegrows You shouldn't worry about planting another Rose bush where a former rose bush was removed because of RRD. RRD is caused by a virus carried by mites. So you should spray with organic pesticides like Spinosad during the growing season when mites are present and reproducing. I have an organic garden and found out about Spinosad this growing season and is a God send. I’m battling with thrips at the moment, and they were literally sucking the life out of my plants. Two treatments with Spinosad later, they bounced back and bloomed like crazy.
