I can give some context to the lore your seeking. The super ships of the Federation was Typhoon Oddessy Jupiter. Typhoon was the Battlecruiser made from Andora's shipyards and apparently its why she has the odd nacelles as apparently that's a trait of some Andorian Ships. Oddessy was the Battleship/Dreadnaught that was created in Jupiter Shipyards. Her more classic lines harkins back to the original Terran/Federation designs. Jupiter was a super carrier a literal battlestar for the Federation. I don't have her construction of origin but given she is the only ship that dawrfs the Oddessy and the Typhoon is a good guess she's the 3rd super ship. Typhoon at least her older variant would be largely replaced by the Command Battlecruisers the Concorde, the Geneva and the Presidio. All which retain the double nacelle on each pylons with the Concorde having the closest similarity to the Typhoon.

This ship is a very weak world razer honestly. It looks nice but isnt close in damage potential to the Razer. Especially since you cant run CF3 and a firing mode rank of lt.cmdr or higher

I've watched a few of these vids with the ISC ships and have to ask; Does the PPD Do much of anything? The ISC Type G, Y, and S Plasma Torps do more work.

Star Trek is a lot about head canon as the lore has lots of gaps already. I think it makes sense to consider the Achilles a ship class that later evolved into the line of Inquiry and Avenger /Arbiter designs. With Federation no longer having a need for pure warships the Achilles were either scrapped or moth balled after the end of the Dominion war.

Ahh Light Batttlestars in the campagin cost more then twice as much as an Adamant. While I don't know the cost of a Valkyrie given she's a more advanced design I would be shocked if she was actually cheaper then the war era Light Battlestars much less the Adamants.

This game always fascinated me as a kid, but I kept getting curb-stomped by the missions where you go up against strange alien creatures instead of other starships. Also, are you using a modpack or did they change the Fed dreadnaught models? I don't recall this one being ingame

She wasn't designed to do pretty things. As another early designed warship she is perfectly suited for what was needed at the time. Taking everything learned from the defiant class of ship and what was already in production like the Sovereign, Akira and the prototype Prometheus class she fitted in nicely. I highly encourage everyone who plays STO to play Dominion Wars, you wont be disappointed.
