Great Central Railway. This was filmed at Leicester North. Well worth a visit if you get chance.

My most recent visit was in October 2022, I hadn't been for some considerable time prior to that. The Class 116/122 DMU combo was working trains that day and it was a very enjoyable visit, very friendly staff too. I think I know the answer but it would be interesting to know if there is any scope to extend the line at all. The access to the car park at Shackerstone is on part of the old track bed.

As I remember the wankers in charge of us never let us get near any dirt....anyone over WO rank was shit sc ared of getting stuck anywhere and the Tiffys were always saying hey would break if off roaded??? (I drive a unimog for kicks now).

Flying a red flag on a turret is a bit of a no no. On a range it usually means the gun is unsafe and can fire at anytime.

Excellent little armoured car, the 2 pounder even at wars end was capable of killing or disabling most German tanks up to a Panther on its notoriously weak sides.
