Bought a set of Grade1s, the foam midsole turned to powder within a few months and the soles split from the boot, apparently a common problem :( I've had several German para boots before these but these will likely be my last.

I got mine in this week. It should really help my Grail purifier filter last longer.

Hi, i just watch buscraft videos now today. 2024. I keep come back to yours. You are great at explaining, teaching, you are true and kind. What other i love the best is leave to sigh of a camp. Camp it in camp it out. You do not desteoy trees. Kleen tidy came. Leave no trace. Thats take me to these new channels. Hammering in nails to trees. Building with paracord. Etc. Then leaving it in the woods. What channels are still around ? You know that i can watch. Some of these woods killers are juat depressing. I always love and respect your videos. 9 Years later still holds up. After a back button rubber cap replacement and a good cleaning it works just fine. The back unscrews by the way hard to do but it does, so you have access to the tail switch. Mine had some damage from the rubber being torn and using it in my mouth while working on my car. Works great and as tempted as I am to buy a new one with all the bells and whistles. This will continue to be in my pocket untill it breaks.

..and don’t worry to clean the inside .. they always clean by magic…

Why did Schrade discontinue these knives? I had the regular 40 and I absolutely loved it. I left it in my work truck years ago and someone walked off with it. I could never find another.

As a former criminal defence lawyer in Scotland, as far as Scotland goes, whilst the case law is similar, there is now virtually no reason accepted by the police for the public carrying of any knife which is not covered by the 3" cutting edge, non-locking, folding knife statutory exemption. The excuse of taking it to work, or returning from work cannot be relied upon, as it is stated that the knife can be left at work, unless the particular employment involves working in different places each day. However if your place of work is fixed, then it is held that there is no reason to transport the knife to and fro. Also, if a person is on the way home from work, or going anywhere to take the knife to, and he or she goes into a shop / cafe / restaurant, any public place whatsoever, even though they leave the non-exempt knife locked in their car boot, out of sight, if this is discovered, the person is still deemed to be in possession of the knife (as they would be if it was drugs, or any other item, either legal or otherwise) at the specific time, when tat that moment hey had no reason for carrying it, and so are liable to prosecution. If you want to EDC, get a slipjoint or an FF within the legal parameters.
