Hey JSIMZJ, I literally saw this vid now and want to ask you a question. As a beginner, how and when do you know when to add a "scale run" to your chords? and is it always the pentatonic scale to use? I humbly await your respond thank you.

@natebrown2803 The best placement is before going to the chord, running into the chord. That way, it doesn't interfere with the integrity of the song and doesn't sound busy or like you're doing too much. It doesn't always have to be the pentatonic scale. It can be whatever scale goes nicely with the chord or, importantly, the scale that built the chord.
