STILL using this as a second camera in 2024 was used along with a Fuji X-T1 that only had manual lenses along with my two Sony's the NEX 7 and NEX 5T. I sold the sony cameras bought a new X-T30ii and slowly building up my Fuji XF comaptible lens but this little Pentax is just far too much fun to part with. They where not cheap when new then went quite reasonable but now they are becoming expensive again, get one and bring a smile to your photography my Facebook image is still an image taken with this camera using a preset on the dial and I still love that image.

I always loved these travel/photo challenge episodes; Amsterdam, Taiwain, London. Though I think Amsterdam part 1 is the only one available at the moment?

The color rendition and lighting of shaded areas that the d7100 puts out is really incredible and definitely questions the need for a full frame camera

Was not disappointed! Lara Jade made such creative photomanipulations back in the day on Deviantart - really striking and clever stuff, even if you weren’t into the whimsy-goth style, and I’m so pleased to see she’s followed photography as she got older.

I don't understand why people purchase a point and shoot and then criticize the lack of manual control. It's like buying a car with an automatic transmission and then criticize that they can't choose their own gear. In 1980 this was for people who want to just point and shoot.

crazy.. 12 years later.. its still $2k, and the old version for a really good copy is still almost $1k i sure miss coming home from work to watch these videos. those where the good ole' days for sure.

Watching this in 2025. Kai was so much more entertaining back in the day. Hong Kong was such a great backdrop as opposed to the UK. There was so much happening in HK. Kai’s remarks were funny. Now he’s more PC.

I got mine in December 2024 around $360. One of my dream cameras when this was released but it is around $5000 back then and can't afford it. It had an awesome image quality back then and still is now.
