That is a good question. I don't know if I'm gonna make a small series with beating bosses with Sharp Shadow only once I'm out of my break. I guess I could try that some times while I'm not doing other stuff. So... who knows.

I'll be real, first time I did Radiant THK (months ago) I failed a lot. PV is faster and it's easier to respond to their moves, because they're spaced nicely and they're fast, while THK moves a couple of centimeters forward and moves slowly, so, obviously, since one is assumed to practice PV more and do THK like, 3 times max in a run (one for each ending), you kinda get used to PV and taking that step back to THK feels extremely wrong. Which doesn't happen with Radiance and AbsRad, by the way, because the strat is exactly the same and the timings do not change, in fact, it becomes easier getting back to Radiance, since you have to dodge less.

Uhhh... The first two aren't completely bullshit and they can be dodged easily. The last 3 are kinda bullshit so play it safe and DDark to get them I-frames. I'm sure there's a better way to dodge them, but they are pretty bullshit. Also AIKG can *sometimes* deal ghost damage in phase 3, where you get hit by nothing. Just focus on dodging the Phase 3 version by not going where he previously was after he teleports mid attack.

They are also the only attacks I consistently get hit by, and every time it makes me mad because I have to waste 2 staggers on healing while doing Infinite AIKG. The worst part is that they are bullshit only the first time around, because, in the Infinite version, after he speeds up once, the pillars behave normally, which is annoying!

Switch is actually the only version I've plat'd so far (I still haven't got Keen/True Hunter, Banishment, Peace, Purity, Rivalry and Steel Soul/Heart on Steam), and it's also the version where I first beat Radiant AbsRad.

It was tough, honestly tougher than AIKG, mainly because I'm more used to his moveset than IKG's.

Oh, it's not that bad. I've done 8-hour runs that had only 2 quarter hour pauses.

Oh, Watcher Knights are what is generally considered the "skill check". Don't feel bad about dying at them often, it's absolutely normal. There's a chandelier hidden in the ceiling before the fight that insta-kills one if you haven't done that. And if you've beaten then, then congrats, as they are probably the second hardest boss in a base game run (excluding Grimm Troupe and Godhome), beaten only by standard Radiance.

Well, I call this "fodder" as this is just a challenge that I've previously done, based on a challenge I've seen on Reddit one time. And, besides, this is on the easier side than some other things I've done (looking at you, Radiants on this channel). I mean, I chose GPZ specifically because it's the one I found hardest to beat with Sharp Shadow only, and I think it made for the best one to do this on. I have other challenges I'll do on GPZ, I just had this ready in case Nail Only 1.5x Speed Radiant Pale Prince took longer than it did, which, actually, it didn't, or, at least it didn't take as long as I expected.

I have never tried Any Radiance and, honestly, it scares me a bit. I'm not that incredible at base AbsRad, and AnyRad uses some things that I've honestly never tried. Like, stalling in the air by pogoing the side spears. And I feel like my reflexes aren't good enough to dodge the 50 million things happening at once. I could honestly try, but I'm probably not gonna do well at it.

At the time I recorded that, I was on a wild rush to grind as many modded Radiants as I could. And since I like AIKG as a boss, I said "why not"?

Right now I'm deep into fighting Pale Prince with a whole bunch of restrictions, so I'll probably come back to this either next week or the week after. Luckily, Debug Mod has this quirky feature called "Remove Health", which casually deals me damage without actually dealing me damage. So I can activate Fury at the first possible moment. Which I probably won't do, and I'm gonna ride on that Quickslash ride. And I'm also not gonna do this on PV. I'll do this on Radiance or AbsRad, which could be interesting.

@rixmorseekerofdarkness ooo ok thanks I think it's gonna be most effective on those bosses spamming grubberflys elegy especially with fury boost is op also I found out this neat trick by someone doing it with elegy which you can hit with your nail and hit with elegy slash which gives you range boost and strength at one hp so it's basically mark of pride p+ mark of pride + long nail + strength at one hp even without out that trick its a neat charm

This looks fun! Fights become a matter of dodging, instead of hitting. I'm gonna probably try that on Nightmare King first, once I get done... let's check the notes... "speed up, spell-less Radiant Pale Prince". But, for example, if I wanna use Dream Wielder, or, y'know, Sharp Shadow, or Unbreakable Heart, am I allowed to?

If you're on PC, via the Lumafly mod installer, search for the Enemy HP Bar and Damage Values mods.

NKG is a matter of learning the appropriate response to each of his attacks. He has probably the least RNG out of all bosses, so learning how to counter him isn't that difficult. You can do it with enough practice! But, to be fair, those respawn strats were something crazy.

Don't worry, I struggle immensely with NKG too. I know his moves, I know the appropriate responses, my reaction speed/timing/accuracy just sucks. We can be amazed and humiliated together.

Well, loads weren't that vital. I wasn't doing an actual attempt, I'm pretty sure it doesn't even exist as a category, lol. Besides, I still have to figure out how to properly use LiveSplit in the first place. For AbsRad... I know. I very well know I could've died and still unlock her, but... where would be the fun in that? If I'm gonna take this run more seriously I'll just die to her, as, well, the objective is to beat Radiant Hall of Gods, not beat the 5 Pantheons.

Oh, this is gonna be fun! If I'm gonna do it, I'll do it with this particular ruleset and I'll do it up to 1.5x speed. So, bad charmbuild, speed up for each time I defeat it, up to 1.5x, as that's probably the fastest speed my brain can reliably reply to what's going on. Or, well, we'll see how far I can go. Prepare to see some bad charmbuild with like, Dreamshield, Thorns or some other awful charm. Thorns is gonna be ass, lmao. Thanks for the challenge, though! Oh, this is only the successful attempt I got after 2 and a half hours of dumbassery and dying to the stupidiest things. This guy is no joke. He'll hit you just because you pogo'd one times too much. This is the Radiant that took me the longest out of every Radiant I've ever done. Very satisfying, I don't think it's the hardest I've done, but it's still a good fight.

For all battles, I used the same charm build consisting of: Unbreakable Strength; Quickslash; Longnail; Spell Twister; Steady Body.

For the health bar, Enemy HP Bar. For the numbers, Damage Values.

I guess they are two different kinds of difficult. I found 2x Pure Vessel difficult because it messes with the timings I've gotten used to while fighting them, especially with the pogo timings (hence why I switched to dodging Lunge / Triple Combo / Void Tendrils with DDark instead of pogoing Pure Vessel), but Pale Prince is difficult because their moves sometimes overlap and they cover most of the screen, their tells for the Void attacks are the same (either it's a short spurt or it's a spinning spurt) and it's hard to react in time to which of those they do, they're pretty darn speedy and their trail is annoying. Honestly, I found this more difficult than Pale Prince because with that fight, you have some time to react and you don't just get chain hit because you distract yourself for one microscopic amount of time. I've had attempts in 1.8x to 2x where I spawned, got hit once, then got distracted for a second trying to recover and they just combo'd me to death.

I should've put a timer, but I didn't think of that at the time. I guess the only thing I've got to prove that it's real is by hearing the game audio. The music's speed isn't altered, and each time I get hit, the sound effect muffles the music as it should. Now, this is the internet and everyone can lie, so it's fine if anyone believes it's fake. I'm just happy to know that I can post these videos where I do some challenges that people can enjoy watching.

The main ones that are active are: Debug Mod (for the "increase timescale" command); Enemy HP Bar (so that I knew how much life Pure Vessel had); Damage Values (to see how much damage per hit I dealt). There are others, but they don't actually change anything else in this video in particular.

I remember that I could even get past this duo in Champion's Call some months ago, but since then I've gotten better, and managed to beat the whole thing a couple of times. I do however think that this is the absolutely worst boss I've ever done in Radiant. And I agree, Pale Court is a goated mod.

In general Pale Court bosses are around Pure Vessel difficulty, but this battle specifically sucks because Ogrim has the worst hitboxes in existence, add in the dung balls that Isma kicks at the player and you've got a recipe for disaster.
