I played this game on an actual GBA SP as a kid, and man... someone a Dimps woke up and chose violence with this game! The tag team mechanic is cool, but this game gets obnoxious later on. Also, you can cheese the final boss with Sonic if you have Knuckles as your partner. Normally it sits right outside your jump range, but Knuckles gives you and upward dash that you can just hit him at any time with.

1:27 I remember as kids when my brother and I learned that you could do this. We made a game of Arwing jousting in multiplayer where you'd ride your ships past each other and try to hit the other with a sniper rifle. :D Additionally, there's a placeable weapon for multiplayer that you can unlock that throws up bombs like a confetti cannon. You can place it on the Arwing as if it's on the ground. My favorite part of this is that the force of the shot will dip your Arwing.
