He is an unbelievable journalist and ANY book he has written is SO WELL researched. I read Dead Wake and loved it, although it was such a tragedy. The Lusitania was an interest of mine before I read the bk. The Known World is in my $Tree now! $1.25!

A big part of having a little free library is curating the books you have. If they are duds and don't move in a while, take them out and move them on/donate them elsewhere. Sometimes people put up a library and then never touch it again which I find sad. Wish you could visit mine!

I like hard cover journals and spiral bound journals. I prefer an 8x10 or 81/2 x11. I do have lots of smaller sizes in my collection. Yes, I agree, it's exciting picking out the next journal! Good video, thanks!

I have lived in Mi. for over 34 yrs.😐 I am originally from New England and miss it still. I started writing letters when I was in the 2nd grade. I still write letters, people think me archaic. Another lost art. I use to buy ALOT of Gwen Frosting products once I discovered her. Writing paper, wrapping paper, notebks, journals, cards and she even had bks. of poetry, essays. I still have some of those products. I hoard stationary. For as long as I can remember friends and relatives would tell me I could open a Stationary Store. Now I can barely close the drawers on my large desk. Also have 3 tin boxes full. Some very old. Not bragging, just love stationary and writing notes and letters. I even use to write to someone down the street from me (2nd gr.). Also people just a few towns away that I would see on a regular basis as well as many out of state friends. Then I started making my own😋. I collect pens too...Oh me oh my! I think we have alot in common although I am older than you. Do you like Poetry? Thank you, I really enjoyed seeing your beautiful collection.

I'm surprised that you don't leave a book to improve the libraries that don't have many books in them. You could be a library fairy. I have spent a very long life giving books away and these little libraries are a Godsend.

I'm laughing and "spooked" because I cannot BELIEVE what I just watched!! It was like watching EXACTLY what is going on presently and for at least a year; in MY life!!!😐😑 I have a VERY BAD ADDICTION to PAPER, stickers, journals, pens (huge collection, ALL kinds), markers, coloring books, rubber stamping, (since 1990), I make cards, I buy cards,make my own ephemera so have ALL kinds of bits of junk mail, wrapping paper,doilies, hundreds of trims, lace...etc,etc. Probably50 times what you have. I DON'T say that BRAGGING. It took a long time, but came to realize it is sinful and over indulged, wasted money. I am continually reorganizing, pitching, donating, giving away for free soooo much stuff and much of it brand new. I am ashamed and OVERWHELMED, way OVERWHELM ED! I do not have time to craft, journal,create cards and make junk journals,etc because of the time I spend doing the above. I use to have a craft room in my old house, but for 7 yrs. now have lived in a small 1 bdrm. apt. Half my livingrm. is my craft rm. I came to much sobering truth and have worked hard in the past yr to rectify. Have made alot of progress, but still more to go. I have poor health and chronic daily pain for 20 + yrs.(24/7). Having had a very bad health and pain yr., I came to the decision that I had to have only 3 or so permanent hobbie/ interests. I also have approximately 200 unread bks. here. SO... I will read, keep up my journals ( personal, quote, blessing) make cards as my pain permits and color, and just started collaging. Not every day,only using what I have left. Way too overwhelming and my health does not permit anymore. I HAVE to be realistic now ( UGH!!). Adopting truly is hard and PAPER truly his an addiction for me; or as I sometimes say: " I have paper lust." EEEK! We have SO MUCH in common and I am glad I found your channel.😊😀😁. Thanks for this video.

OH!!!! I absolutely LOVE Tasha Tudor!! She was from New England like me. Her son built her last home in New Hampshire. (unfortunately I live in Mi. now😑). I had al!most every one of her books, and some prints. I was infatuated by her. I read her biography, had a copy of her Stetchbook. Fascinating women. Her husband couldn't take her eccentric lifestyle,so left her and her 4/5 kids. She raised them by herself and that is why she started writing and illustrating children's books. No running water, no electricity, wood burning stove, goats, corgi's, ducks wondering in and out of the house. Made all their clothes, actually weaved her own cloth. Barefoot alot of the time. Felt she had lived in the 1830's before, so that is why she dressed and lived like she did. Had s wealthy Sea Captain for a Dad and a bohemian Mom. I could go on and on about her. I also loved Elie Wisel's (sp?) Night. I envy you with all those l.f.L around. Few and far between where I live. The cocoa looked good enough to drink now and it's June! Thanks for the fun video🙂🤗.
