I just feel bad for Kaitlyn Dever, she's an incredible actress, she is going to get so much hate because of her character. TLOU pt II is an incredible story that really challenges you to take a step back and look at all that's transpired in both games. This is gonna be amazing

I'd say ep 2. They are def giving a bit more of a runway with the story and having where the game starts come later. Adding Joel in counseling and a big swarm of infected attacking jackson I think gives a bit more of a lead up to the swing

This teaser trailer was released on Outbreak Day, a day that was set by Naughty Dog for the fans to celebrate the games. It also canonically is the day when the fungal outbreak happens in The Last of Us universe. It's similar to May 4th as Star Wars days.

TLOU day is symbolic. In The Last of Us lore that is the Canon day of when the outbreak started. Now fans use it like a "holiday" to celebrate the game.

TLOU Day is just a celebration of the franchise, as September 26th is when the outbreak happened (and is also Joel's birthday), and they release news, new merch, trailers and things like that. It's really not as convulated as it may seem, just a moment for fans to celebrate together

Here is what I have to say, for all the newcomers to this season. If you are mentally going through a tough time, please DO NOT watch this season. Because the story is going to get brutally emotional. You are either going to love the story or hate the story. That being said, in my opinion, its still a story worth experiencing.
