Had same problem with steering wheel working with other games but not this one but did update on my wheel and working perfectly on this game now

I'm having the same problem too with its gear. When I have to reverse, it won't let me reverse. You have to press the parking break first if you need to like go forward or back. Hope they fix it.

Last patch did fix the problem for me on my game, but hopefully everyone with this problem will be fix.
