Saw Declan, Ronan Keating and Darvill in this role. Declan is my favourite. Zrinka is, of course, the best Girl.

I don't know you But I want you All the more for that Words fall through me And always fool me And I can't react And games that never amount To more than they're meant Will play themselves out Take this sinking boat and point it home We've still got time Raise your hopeful voice, you have a choice You'll make it now Falling slowly, eyes that know me And I can't go back And moods that take me and erase me And I'm painted black You have suffered enough And warred with yourself It's time that you won Take this sinking boat and point it home We've still got time Raise your hopeful voice, you have a choice You've made it now Take this sinking boat and point it home We've still got time Raise your hopeful voice, you have a choice You've made it now Falling slowly, sing your melody I'll sing it loud I paid the cost too late Now you're gone

lol. I heard about this a couple of years ago, that they spoilt the Daleks returning in 2006 by showing a never-before-seen black Dalek at this awards ceremony. You can even see Billie at 3:27 talking to Russell like 'What the hell is that doing here!? That episode hasn't even aired yet!!' Personally, I was lucky and didn't know about this at the time so it was a complete suprise to me when the Daleks came back but I think for folks slightly older and more with it than I was it would've spoilt it sadly.

I like that he goes for the high note. So many guys stick with the lower octave, but he sings it as it should be. :)

Haha! Of course he’s standing on a box! (Also, why are they using the imperial system in the UK?)
@DayOldMeat
@DayOldMeat 6 жыл бұрын
WimpyKelv12 We tend to use imperial for people's heights (and distances, and milk/beer), so a person would be 5' 4" but if they were standing next to a shelf of the same height, that would be 163 cm. Confused?
@DayOldMeat
@DayOldMeat 6 жыл бұрын
Also, this being an old report, people slipped into imperial more easily. I'm not that old and I still remember the weather being given in farenheight for those who didn't get centigrade.

He had so much potential. Unfortunately, time, budget and popularity completely destroyed the show in the mid to late eighties and poor Sylvester's tenure was not one of the best (despite my undying fondness for that era in the show's history)

People say "actors shouldn't sing" or do anything but act... this shows that's bloody wrong. Obviously there are tons of other examples, but this is one of the more pointed ones. Musicians can fall into great acting jobs and the opposite is also true. One talent doesn't mean that's their SOLE talent!
