How does tent holding up,over time.
@silentoverlander
@silentoverlander 4 ай бұрын
Hey Robert... this exact tent you see here, this is the 3rd trip out with it. However I have the original V2 and have used that for well over a year, and the tent has held up to some crazy camping trips with intense winds beating the tent, based on that, these tents hold up excellent.

Great question, pretty sure at the wall it's about 5' and as you can see it goes up from there.

This is #America when you are out there on public land, have whatever setup you want. I like the variety and watching how other people do it differently than myself. I can certainly appreciate a differing opinion but some people's sarcasm or attempt at humor in their comments is a real bummer. Thanks for taking the time to make your videos. Keep doing what you are doing.

Thank you for stopping by and supporting the channel. 100% agree with you, we all need to do our own thing. But I don't judge, those comments give us something to laugh at. Stay well!

Hey bud, welcome to the channel and thank you for the kind words. You know what, on one of my other companies channels, a user commented "You do you". Now this was in reference to a camera I had been talking about. However I bring this up here as people need to understand, we each need to do what is important to our own needs and our comfort level. What I head out and do, is all for me, my enjoyment or if I have my son with me, so he has a good time and memories are formed. That said some of the comments are absolute comedy. Cheers friend... see you in the next video!

Not only are you in a t-shirt, but the shelters doors are open. How cold do you think it'll get. This hot tent isn't roughing it. You've got Electricy, heat from a wood stove, a jeep with satelite antenna. Oh wow you're really roughing it. WHAT A JOKE. AND WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. HECK, THAT SATELITE ANTENNA ETC. COSTS A BUNDLE.

LMAO, who said anything about roughing it? If I find enjoyment and use from it, how is that a waste? All good though Bill, to each their own. Thanks for stopping by today.

Not excatly a quick setup. Too much stuff to carry for a "tent". Not worth spending the dollars to build a temp tent. I don't understand this. Why not spend the money for a trailer? Not much setup, warm, has heater, you can cook almost immediately after getting to your camp spot.

Hey bud, thank you for stopping by. Actually I do own a Turtle Back Expedition trailer. Your 100% correct, with how you see me setting this up, NOT a quick setup. However stick with the basics: Tent setup: 5 min (10 min if you including laying out floor). Toss in cot and sleeping gear and you are off to the races in no time. I'm not going for any sort of speed setup, just having fun, creating a cozy space in the sticks. See you around new friend!

Brother I'm from the north east, when working outdoors I'm good with cold. Although during the day, it was in the low 40's. You'll see a part of the video where I just started the fire and it was 41F in the tent. It got to 22F that evening. I promise at that point, I was wearing my coat! ;)
