People forget, before he became a walkin meme and an interception machine Jameis was a beast I use to call him “Black Manning” He was throwing receivers open and making completions into impossible windows. Crazy how his passes had a weird flutter because he had a crooked pinky finger on his throwing hand.

These were the days. Jamaal Charles is my favorite RB ever. Best I’ve ever seen. But Melvin looked so much like him. A little slower but the running style was so similar. I am still shocked by Melvins pro career. Still one of the greatest college RB of my lifetime

Hester had a real life turbo button. Unreal acceleration. Elite ability to run behind blocks and adjust speed, acceleration again.

Watching in 2024 after first seeing this when he was drafted to my favorite team 9 years ago. Gotta say wish the man worked out in TN, but this highlight tape, if it wasnt for tavon austin, honestly wouldve given any other highlight reel a run for it money for the best highlights ever. Marigoata.

Better highlight tape than Tavon Austin. The best player from Maryland and to ever go to UMD. 🐐🐐🐐

The funny thing about the UCF-ECU play is that it should've never happened, ECU went down for 3 knees and left 10 seconds on the clock, which led to the hail mary. Insane stuff

The pride of the City of Chicago, and the Bears. Bear down to Mr Hester. If only one word could describe this beast, it would be "EXPLOSIVE". This video will explain why!
@bro_13378 ай бұрын
Fun fact, Devin Hester ran a 4.46 40 yard dash at the NFL Combine. This is fast, but nothing special at all. More than 20% of WRs at his combine ran faster than him. He's a perfect example of why measurables don't nearly tell the whole story. I think of him as the Jerry Rice of return men.
@dontbugme73626 ай бұрын
That's straight line speed. Watching him, his ability to make cuts at high speed and his vision, so many of his runbacks were pretty much straight ahead, hit the hole, and go!
@111daron2 ай бұрын
Hester was not a 4.46 guy by any means. His actual NFL combine time was a 4.41 with a hurt hamstring
@bro_13372 ай бұрын
@111daron I looked this up and I would say you are correct about the time! I noticed there were some sources that said 4.46, but 4.41 looks like the correct number (has better and more reliable sources). I must have ran across one of the sources that state 4.46 and didn't investigate further. Thanks for the correction.
