I think anyone calling another woman a “pick me girl” is an incredibly insecure person who doesn’t like the fact that this “pick me girl” is secure and confident in herself and simply doesn’t care about makeup, shopping, fashion or girly things. Women (like me) are considered “pick me girls” nowadays and I think it’s just so sad to see women that are tomboyish, hate shopping, have mostly male friends and don’t like to wear makeup are getting bullied by other women because of their “pick me girl” preferences. These other women are the types to call themselves feminists, when in fact they are not feminists or for women if they are bullying a woman because she’s different or doesn’t like the same things as them. It just screams insecurity, low self esteem, drama and vanity. Instead of praising a woman for being individually different for liking to be real and less fake like most women are nowadays, they are bullied and called “pick me girls” and I think it’s just really disrespectful and hateful. It’s incredibly dumb and hypocritical as well. If you call a woman a pick me girl, don’t ever say that you support women or are a feminist, because you aren’t. You are a bully and nothing more. Just because a girl doesn’t like or get the point of the things you like, doesn’t mean you get to be mean and disrespectful towards them because you aren’t comfortable being yourself in your natural form. Get some self esteem and grow up.

I agree with you, but I think they call girls 'pick me' when they know they're just straight up lying to get attention, like in Kendall's case, its because people can tell she is completely NOT what she claims she is. "I was a huge tomboy when I was a kid", um okay, whatever little moments we saw of you growing up certainly did not make you seem like a tomboy or with the impression that her family name wasn't of any help to her for getting to where she is today, sooo. I know we only see very little of these celebs' lives and their lives can be very different than what it appears, but when someone can say they were THAT big of a tomboy, we'd at least see it once in their behaviour instead of just saying it over and over again. Not validating that its okay to call people out for being different, but just people who claim to be someone they are not.
