There's a typo in the last track: It's supposed to be "Electrocherrie LK - Schall" and after that song there's actually one more, which isn't listed in the track list.

I did manage to find a copy of it. Somebody saw these videos on KZbin and passed it to me. Send me your e-mail and I'll pass you a copy. I'm planning to put it up on KZbin but that doesn't always work for people. I've put up mix tapes 1, 3, and 4 and some of them are blocked in certain countries so not everybody can see them. Guessing the same thing will happen if I upload mix tape 2 but I'll give it a try at some point.

It was my honor and privilege to get to know the guys in ZF when they first toured the US and Canada. I followed them on part of the tour from Albany, NY to Providence, RI, NYC, Baltimore, and Washington, DC; picked it up again at the end of the tour in Montreal and Toronto. Their tremendous musical innovation that was inspiring, but then they were also a gracious, thoughtful group of guys that were such a pleasure to know. After they split in 1995 it was still a great joy to follow all of their subsequent projects. Robin certainly has had a distinguished career with Rapoon, but I have appreciated everything that every one of them has done and wish them all the best. M

I am looking for live footage of Rhythm & Noise. I saw them in San Francisco in I think 1987, totally amazing. They picked up the audience in a black bus with now windows and no seats. Drove you to the junkyard studio, after scaring the crap out of everyone, driving backwards down a hill with no engine. Zev was playing percussion too. So over the top. Naut Humon? Is that the guy behind the band? Is he alive?

I have the mp3 for Mix tape 1 and 2 is there more then 4?

No, they broke up shortly after mix tape 4. In my opinion, mix tape 4 is a sign that they were having issues. It's too long, it's not as innovative as the first and third mix tapes, and it just seems a bit unfocused. Those first two mix tapes are really tight and refined - no dull moments. If you have mix tape 2, I'd love to get a copy. You can e-mail me on [email protected] or upload it or dropbox/onedrive it - I'm interested.

When I grabbed these back in the day, I never saw a posting for it, so I'm not sure what the back story is on mix tape #2 but I'd love to get a copy if you find it. Love mix tape 1 and 3 so I'm guessing 2 is just as good.

ZF was a big influence on me in my early years, 90's. Shadow thief of the sun is my fav. I used to sleep to their tracks. Still got most of their first editions on vinyl. When I got into DJ'ing jungle in detroit, i mixed it with ZF. People didn't know what they where hearing but always liked it, especially the Liquid Silver fashion shows.

I owned the complete original stuff from the early 80s up to the band's end. Til today 'Popular Soviet Songs & Youth Music' and 'Eostre' are my favourite albums. If 2 bands have had the greatest musical influence on me, it is Zoviet France and Rapoon.

I am so psyched to see the full film on KZbin! I have this on VHS and have been meaning to convert it to DVD, so thanks for posting this. Rhythm & Noise are an amazing group that deserves more attention and praise, especially for their unique fusion of industrial, ambient, musique concrete, and progressive electronic. Both R&N albums are just crying out for rediscovery and proper remasters/reissues.
