A follower shouldn't expect but feel in such moments. Even if I'm dancing with the queen, the song is the king! Kings stay king like Romeo Santos expresses in his songs :D
@TropicalMood10 ай бұрын
I appreciate your comprehension. There is not many people who can hear the guitar in bachata scene :) Unfortunately too much focus on bongochata makes them deaf to other strong instruments which produce more interesting melodies

does bass change between derecho and majao?
@TropicalMood Жыл бұрын
Bass changes to reflect the mood and energy changes of the song. It has more connection to other melodic instruments like acoustic-electric guitar, piano, vocal etc. Bass itself can play a melody. I don't suggest making direct connections in your mind between bass and bongo or any other instrument. I don't think this way would be useful for dancing. Maybe I'm missing something and I'm curious to understand your case. Why do you try to make such a generalisation or even think about this connection? :) How it could help you in dancing? Maybe I can give a better answer after understanding you

¡Muchas gracias por comentar! Para ser claros, no había ningún arreglo más que el título de la canción y la persona con la que iba a bailar. Improvisamos al 100% Le pregunté que me gustaría bailar a la canción "It's a man's world".

Thank you Steve. Although I listen to this song almost everyday, first time I heard the drum 🥁 after watching this moment. I was so focused on the guitar... I respect Desirée however I still go with guitar as it is the dominant instrument in this part. Having said that, showing our musicality on separate instruments is the best for the dance. We reflect the richness of the song in this way

Very accurate! I criticize myself in this video :) I didn’t share this to show how perfect I’m but rather to show what I’m doing wrong as many other dancers 😉 People learn from mistakes yet no influencer shares imperfections. Also it’s important to accept mistakes. Many people cannot improvise, cannot even try due to fear of looking terrible. I try to encourage dancers for improvisation by demonstrating that mistakes are not so bad to be embarrassed 🙈🙃
