Mike and Eric do a great job at adding comedy to the videos. The good news is that the Cardinals' defense is almost as bad as ours. @ChristopherBingham-xx8xl10 күн бұрын
4:43 No it wasn't. That was a good call. The defensive back got there early. Jayden Daniels looks AWESOME. Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler appear to be the 2 most underrated players in the NFL. Zach Ertz did a great job taking that ball out of the Giants' defenders hands and he made some big catches, I really like him. Bobby Wagner and Franke Luvu are doing well and Benjamin St. Juste showed improvement. Austin Seibert had a great debut. Kliff Kingsbury is the best offensive play-caller we've had in ages. Other than that, there's nothing good I can say about this team. The O-line committed 4 or 5 false starts in the red zone. One is too many. Opponents are shutting down Terry because our line isn't giving him time to get down the field and because other guys aren't getting open so opponents can double or triple team him. And the defense...these guys stink! There've been dozens of missed tackles. There's no pressure on the QB. Jonathan Allen and Da'Ron Payne are bank robbers at this point: they're getting paid all that money to do nothing. When the secondary is not blowing coverages, they're missing tackles. I thought our defense was supposed to be better this year. It sure doesn't look that way. I agree we should have signed Stephon Gilmore: it made me mad that we let him get away. The problem with adding pre-snap motion and shifting is that it can lead to even more pre-snap penalties. Haven't we already had enough of those? We need a little bit of discipline and we need to master the basics before we add that stuff. The Bengals always start slowly, but they usually play well in week 3. They started the season facing 2 great defenses (Patriots and Chiefs) and they now get to face the worst defense ever. I feel like I should pick the Bengals, but they're not looking too good right now, so I'll pick us to win a shootout, 36-34

Tough game to pick this week, but i'm actually picking you guys to beat the Bengals in my pickems. I really think Jayden gets better every week, I think he throws his first touchdown this week, and I think Robinson and Ekeler take full advantage of a Bengals defense that is boasting a crazy 159 rushing yards allowed a game. I also look to seeing the defense improve every week too. Should be a fun game to watch. I'm curious how the Bengals handle Jayden if he does run a little

I hope you are right. That being said, our defense is atrocious. The Giants had some miscues and their kicker got injured, so that helped us in week 2. I hope our defense improves. Last year, it was the worst defense the NFL ever saw and it still looks that way now despite all the offseason changes. And you get the Broncos, so you guys should have an easy 3-0 start. Things are looking good for the Buccaneers.

Emmanuel Forbes is NOT playing. Thank God. I couldn't believe our defense was last week. We gave up points on every drive except one! Even when they'd force it to be 3rd and 17, Baker would escape the pressure and complete a pass downfield to an open receiver. Thankfully, the Giants do not have the offensive firepower that the Buccaneers have. The offense had a decent debut, considering all the new pieces. It's a work in progress but that was expected. The nice thing about our schedule? All of our next 6 opponents also lost in week 1. We have a lot of work to do but so do they. Our first game against an opponent that won in week 1 was a Bears team that squeaked by a bad Titans team. The schedule from week 10 to the end is tough, but most of our opponents before that have some serious issues so we should be able to win some games despite our issues. If we lose to the Giants, I might break everything in my home and kill myself.

It’s absolutely amazing how similar the numbers are for Wagner and David.. who both came out as 2nd round during the same year. The two names on defence for the Bucs are Ya Ya Diaby, and Calijah Kancey. Both are going into their second season… and these two will lead the Bucs in QB sacks. Diaby actually led the team last year, with all of his sacks coming after week 9 when he was put into the starting rotation (he had merely a handful of snaps in the first 5 games). He will line up against the new rookie left tackle. Kancey missed all of last year’s preseason due to injury, and while he played a couple snaps in the first game, really didn’t play until week 6. As all rookie DT’s in their first season… it took a while to adjust, but was the best defensive player during the playoffs capturing 1.5 sacks (against two of the better offensive lines), but more importantly… was continuously in the backfield busting up plays before they got going. Good get-off and elite hands, check out the comparisons to fellow Pitt DT Aaron Donald And Vea lost over 30lbs, and this could be his best season since 2019 at this weight (he hasn’t lost strength, merely gained speed and endurance)

I loved the pick Sanristill, and the number of great leaders that Washington has brought in… I think Commander QB will win the OROY. Please be patient with the first few games… that’s a lot of new parts to the game, and may take some time to get them to gel. Dan is a player coach… and with leadership like Wagner, he’s going to bring the best out of them. It’s a rough start, going against the Bucs. Sanristill is going up against Chris Godwin… 4” taller, 30lbs heavier and is recognizably the most physical receiver in the NFC. Chris will be back at slot (where he’s caught more than 100 passes in a year, and even recovering from major surgery, he recorded (for the third straight year), more than 1000 yards while playing out wide Bowles defence can be challenging, merely because of his blitzing… where the extra body can come from anywhere, and while the edge rushers are not household names… they are excellent at setting the edges… and the DT collapses in interior. Both CB have 4.3 speed and are good (not great) tacklers. Winfield is a weapon much like Chin… but with little better credentials (1st team all-pro)… and more importantly, the heat seeking missile Jordan Whitehead is back at safety (we had Two players-including Devon White who were total liability every time they got on the field ).

Baker Mayfield was awful in his 2nd year. What are you talking about? We weren't able to generate pressure in the pre-season because Allen, Payne, and Newton weren't playing. It was all back-ups. So, I'm not worried. The Buccaneers were NOT good at defending the pass. They ranked 29th in that area. I was going "What!? What!?!? What!?!?" When you said that. 29th? Good? If you mean that it was good compared to our pass defense, then yeah. Compared to the NFL in general, that ain't good. Don't overreact to what they did against the Eagles and against Bryce Young. The Eagles completely collapsed in December and January, and A.J. Brown didn't play in the playoff game and I don't think Jalen Hurts was 100%. As for the Panthers, everybody shut them down them except Joe Barry. The Buccaneers overall ranking against the pass was still 29th. Their thing is being great at stopping the run and awful at stopping the pass. The Rams made the playoffs every year since 2017 except 2022, the year that their coordinator was Liam Coen. So, if the Commanders give up more than 20 points in this game, we have a problem. The Buccaneers have several elite and underrated players. When you think of the most underrated players in the NFL, there might not be a team with more of them than the Buccaneers (Winfield, Lavonte, Vea, Mayfield, Evans, Godwin, Wirfs). But they also have 2 major weaknesses. 1. Rush offense. They ranked DEAD LAST in that area 2 years in a row. They added Barton and Irving but they are rookies. 2. Defending the pass. Bottom 5 against that. If we can take advantage of those weaknesses, we have a chance. I am worried about what Mike Evans will do against us. And, to a lesser extent, Chris Godwin. But, the weather being bad may help us on defense. If that forces the Buccaneers to try to run the ball more, we should be able to stop that. Make them one-dimensional in the rain. I think we will win, 24-20

I mean your Commanders better come out showing something saying stuff like that, because if you don't end up passing well on our defense will you come back and say you're wrong? Things you're overlooking - Continuity - Rookie Receiver Jalen McMillan will surprise - Our Rush Offense will be better this year, Barton the Rookie will surprise - Get ready to not sniff a sack on Baker, this O line is for real and mean That being said, we can lose this game just like any team on Sunday, but until then, you're looking at a super confident Bucs team that is looking to come kick your teeth in physically.
