Very cool old iron. Sounds like she runs good and smooth too! Don't forget to keep a check on the tire pressure for a smooth ride and grade!

Great to hear that! And news about train service?
@hoteldennis5 күн бұрын
They are looking into that possibility.

Should be restored and train service restored as well. It's a sign of a nation in decline for such a great structure to be allowed to deteriorate like that. Thanx for sharing that.

It has been beautifully restored by the Ford Motor Company.
4:32 the sound of the cars pulling out of the yard and wrapping around the curve there now sounds like a symphony all these years later.

My sister used to take the PCC cars from Wood Street station up to spinning wheels on Friday nights to go rollerskating I still remember riding around the Old Gateway Center, Loop with my father who used to live in Overbrook we would take the trolley into downtown that was my first exposure to the downtown subway was riding a PCC car By the time I was old enough to ride by myself, the PCC’s were only going as far as Castle Shannon out to Drake loop and I used to ride that line all the time on weekends when I was bored In fact, I took one of the last ride in September 1999

Wow, what a great machine! They sure did make a lot of equipment based on Fordson tractor power. I’d use that grader right now on my driveway. It’s wonderful to see a 100 year old machine that is fully functional and useful.
