I first heard him in 1976 with the 'Lonesome , On'ry n' Mean' album and I was hooked. on his beautiful voice. He became my favourite singer after Elvis died.

I was 13 in '66. This is around the year I went to the theater in our small town & watched The Nashville Rebel. I've been a big fan every since. I see this is early years of The Porter Wagoner Show. Still in B&W & no Dolly,yet!❤

I’m same age as you. I probably watched The Nashville Rebel during that time also and started liking Waylon’s music. I think he also sang a song call Green River that I used really like listening to. 😊
