What a great topic! (I found your channel in the Skool community!) I am so conflicted with this….my 25 yr old son just moved out to live with a friend and happy for him, he was ready but said he misses us (yay). We let him know he could move back if he needs to but we see him quite a bit already. My 26 yr old daughter still here, she makes me crazy and I do hope she can move out for her own growth and development…and I know she is dying to move out. The thing is I want to miss them! When they live under the same roof, there is no chance to “miss” them. I just hope they never move too far away, but if they feel the need to do so, they should. P.s. I love the name of your channel!

Thank you! It is a pros and cons situation always. And obviously it’s different with each child and the relationship you have with them. We all want them to have independence but there’s some parts of us that want them to always stay home but like you said you’re not getting a chance to miss them and feel what the empty nest feels like. I have friends whose children have moved out and have never come home and it is different because they have different levels of being worried. Sometimes out of sight is out of mind, but sometimes out of sight means more worry. I just try to stay positive about all aspects and we have a good situation right now. I feel the worst for my son who financially cannot move out, but is yearning for that independence.

We have had our adult children and grandchildren living with us off and on for the past 20 years. It has been a blessing and we had the privilege of seeing our grandchildren every day. My grandchildren did not need outside childcare because someone was always home. Now they are in their teens and 20's and we have such a close relationship. That would not have happened if they did not live with us growing up. My daughter recently moved to another state and we miss her a lot. We have our 23 year old grandson living with us now and it is awesome to see him everyday. He has a job and helps around the house. He is respectful and really keeps to himself most times. The thing I am seeing now with home builders are "Generation Homes" where several generations live together but everyone has their own space as well.

I enjoyed this! I am all for leaving mistakes in as well. If you're filming with your phone you could try using the main camera and if it has the wide angle one you could use that for a wider shot here. The downside is you won't be able to see it, but if it's wider you will likely still be in the frame! Just my two cents - nice work and I wish you well on KZbin!
@Busy-After-6016 күн бұрын
Thank you for the suggestion. I will do some practice and give that a try. I think I use the camera this way because of the security of knowing what the shot looks like. It was my very first video and someone else gave me feedback that I gave them a little motion sickness so I need to stabilize it a little bit also. Thank you for watching and your input. It’s appreciated.
@spencers-adventures16 күн бұрын
@@Busy-After-60 I can appreciate that you want to make sure the shot looks nice, I feel the same way! A selfie stick type thing may also work to add some stability and give a wider frame. Stabilization may add a warpy-effect so I think just minding your footing is the best bet - easier said than done on your property I imagine! Either way great work on your video :)

Thank you for sharing. What a roller coaster ride I've been on since going carnivore 12 months ago, it's been a steep learning curve for me but the rewards are well worth it. Thankfully I have a very supportive wife. As far as I'm aware, cheese and anything animal based is considered carnivore unless it's limited to a "lion" diet etc. I don't get dogmatic about it to be honest, there's no rule that says what we have to eat, it's our bodies and our decision in the end. I don't eat much thats sweet or cake like anymore because the cravings come back and take weeks to go away. Wishing you all the success for your meaty journey ahead. Subbed because I want to follow your success.
@Busy-After-60Ай бұрын
Thank you for subscribing. I will keep sharing my journey with my carnivore and my A1c journey. It has been a learning curve for me as well, but I agree that we can interpret the carnivore diet for our needs. My biggest problem is regulation of my sugar levels. I am responding to your comment at 4 AM because I woke up sweating and nauseous so I took my sugar levels and it was 70 so I needed to eat something to bring it up a bit because at this level, I get physical symptoms With my sugar being that low. So to bring my sugar up more quickly, I need to eat things not on the carnivore. I’m just trying to do better, but I am not beating myself up if I have things not on that diet. Good luck to you or continued success. My son has been doing it for a couple years and he goes off the diet once in a while for his mental health, but is good at staying on it. His treat is ice cream which he justifies as being dairy lol.

Due to a small problem in your channel, the videos are not reaching the right audience, due to which the views, subscribers, comments on the channel are not increasing.
